We were on the bridge to Olympus, trying to reach Kronos, when the walkway began to dissolve.

Me, Thalia and Grover made it safely but Annabeth was in no shape for jumping. She stumbled and yelled my name. I caught her hand as the pavement crumbled to dust and fell down into New York.

For a second I thought that we were both going to fall, Annabeth's feet dangling in the open air. Her hand slipped until I was holding only her fingers.

Grover and Thalia grabbed my feet and I found extra strength. Annabeth was not going to fall. I pulled her up and we both lay on the pavement, arms wrapped around each other.

You can sink into the bottom of the sea

She was under the siren's spell, no free will what so ever. I had to stop her or else Annabeth would get eaten by harpies.

She didn't stop swimming, just shook me off anytime I tried to keep her from going.

Suddenly a crazy idea reached me and with some of my powers, thanks Dad, I pulled us both under the waves. The spell began to wear off and finally Annabeth returned, my Annabeth.

When I reached Camp-Half Percy was surprised to find it very quiet.

I began to walk towards the Amphitheater after noticing a small fire.

Chiron was speaking and what I heard amazed me. "- assume he is dead. After so long a silence it is unlikely our prayers to be answered."

It didn't take too long to notice they were burning my shroud. Everyone thought I had died in the Labyrinth.

Me and Annabeth were hiding behind a cauldron.

"Put your cap back on. Get out". "What", Annabeth shrieked "I'm not leaving you."

"I've got a plan. I'll distract them" "But you'll be killed" Annabeth glared at me like she was going to punch me, but she did something that surprised me even more. She kissed me.

"Be safe Seaweed Brain"

Suddenly the pavilion was filled with the torchlight of eavesdroppers

"Oh come on", I complained. "Is there no privacy" They picked us up and took us to the canoe lake. Without a second thought me and Annabeth where dropped in.

I got the last laugh and made an air bubble under the water.

Our friends kept waiting for us to come up but hey- when you're the son of Poseidon you don't have to hurry.

It was pretty much the best underwater kiss of all time.
