NOTE: Ok so this is in a weird scripted format because I wanted to try typing in a different way ... and I didn't know how else to type it since I imagined them singing. Enjoy!
So this takes place after 'Love Never Dies' ... If you are a 'Phantom of the Opera' fan and have never heard it, it's a sequel and isn't half bad. I love the songs and the plot plays out a lot better then it sounds.
A plan, poor girl, at the age of about 13 walks down the streets of a dimming Coney Island street. Walking past shadows and humming to herself to keep the monsters away she spots a man cloaked in black, sitting up agents a wall, without any strength in his form. Before her feet make the rational decision to run her eyes are caught by the pure white mask on the side of his face. 'I know this man and have seen this mask.'
G: Could it be?
Is it so?
Are you he?
*light shines off his mask*
My, how you glow!
P: What does a mere child know?
G: Nothing much,
As you can see
I only know,
One melody.
But still I long to sing.
P: That voice,
G: Is small
P: I know it
G: and also raw.
P: And yet …
G: It plays through the air,
Like a balloon without care.
P: But she is dead.
This cannot be.
G: *whispers* What do you mean?
*a silent pause creeps around them*
Who to you see instead of me?
P: I do not see but I hear.
*he looks up at the girl and she takes a step back*
Are you afraid of the dark?
G: Not at all.
But the monsters in it are offaly tall.
P: What if you had a monster of your own?
G: Then he would be my stone.
My protector and victor.
He would have to be strong,
He would have to be brave,
He would have to be kind,
And he would have to behave.
P: I cannot promise you all,
But if you give me the chance,
I will keep you from a hard fall,
And make all the monsters dance.
G: But we have only just met.
P: And I am already in your debt.
G: But how is that so?
P: You have set the fire in my soul.
You remind me of my muse,
My lost love.
Who I once abused,
Who now sores above.
*as the phantom loses himself in thought a look of shock creeps into the girl's face*
G: You killed her?
P: I might as well have.
So did I fail horribly or only partly? I don't have a tune to this as of yet but I am trying my hardest to come up with something ... it will take a lot of effort I can tell. -_-
Also for the people who have been waiting for my Epic fanfiction ... I am so sorry there is a written apology on my profile.
