Derek's point of view:
We were lying out in the woods together hands linked. The wind blew softly and blew Chloe's black hair behind her. The darkness surrounds us, but I can still see her beautiful face.
"I wish we could be like this every day and night," she whispered softly.
Since we were still on the run, we never really could be like this, but tonight was an exception.
"So do I."
Chloe sat up and looked down at me on the ground. She was wearing a light blue t-shirt that complemented her eyes, and a pair of blue jeans. She was smiling, and hopefully she was happy to be with me all alone.
"I wonder what Simon and Tori are doing," she said casually changing the subject.
"Do we have to be talking about them right now? I just want to spend a little bit of time with the girl of my dreams and not have to bring anyone into it. Is that alright?"
She laughed at that and said, "Sure. So who's this girl of your dreams?"
I smiled. "Who do you think?"
"I don't know. I guess you'll just have to tell me."
So I sat up and faced her. I leaned over the few inches in between us and kissed her. Her lips were the sweetest thing I had ever tasted before.
"So how long can we do this?"
"Do what?" I asked.
"Sneaking out. Being together in the woods. How long until we get caught?"
Great. She was worried about being caught. Out of all the things we could be worried about, for her it was being caught.
"We're fine. Nobody's gunna find us out here. I promise."
"Are you so sure about that?" a voice came behind us.
"Ugh, Tori what are you doing out here?"
"I should be asking you two that."
I turned around and looked up at the figure that was standing behind us.
