It had been years, three to be exact, when the Hundred Year War ended. The four nations were building trust with each other with projects to help refugees and colonies. Although they had their share of disputes, Avatar Aang and his friends helped resolve the issues before they got out of hand. Everything was peaceful at last…
"Stop thief!" a large muscular man wearing an apron on said as he chased a young girl who had on black clothes on.
The girl kept running away with a small box that had silver coins that the man made from working in the butcher shop. The girl had turned ran down the crowded streets of the Fire Nation Capital hoping to lose the man. The girl turned right into a blocked out alley that had no other routes of escape.
"Crap." The girl said out loud and turned around to see an angry butcher a few feet away from her only exit. The girl was panicking on the inside and
"Now, I want my mon…" the large man said before he fell limp. The girl was shocked at first but looked up to see a girl who was standing in front of the fallen man with a glare and another girl who was seemed to be the oldest walk over to her.
"That's was close." The girl said out loud before handing the box over to the oldest girl.
"Yeah it too close, Demi, way too close. I always tell you and Ashanti to be careful, I don't want to be the one to break you guys out of prison." The girl said to Demi, who ran a hand through her brown hair.
"It only happened once, Isis!" Ashanti said to her as she walked over to Demi and took the box away from Isis, who frowns at her. "And besides, Demi got the job done so stop worrying…and good job Demi, you're getting better." Ashanti said as she placed a hand on the young girl's shoulder.
"Thanks." Demi says and smiles at Ashanti.
"Alright, let's go before he wakes up." Isis said as she pointed to the man who showed signs of waking up.
"Damn it, I thought I knocked him out." Ashanti complained and glared at the man with her hidden tanto out and ready.
"Put that thing away and just come on." Isis said before climbing the wall to the roof and ran across the houses with Demi in front. Ashanti rolled her eyes and put her weapon back in her sleeve and ran after Isis and Demi.
