"You must be drunk. The two of you never bad talk your parents. Well except for when sugarqueen is mad at your Dad over something."

"I had one or two small cups of cactus juice. This tiny see."

"I'm blind remember?"

"Guess I had one too many. Anyway today is her birthday. And I'm just feeling really -hic- upset over thinking about -hic- her. Whenever I think of her, it's just... You know I love her just as much as Katara does right? Just because I don't -hic- blow a gasket anytime a firenation dude comes around it doesn't mean that I don't love her right?"

"Yeah. Why are you telling me this? Shouldn't you be blabbing to Suki?"

"Suki wouldn't -hic- understand. And I couldn't talk to Katara and definatly not Aang. I'd talk to Momo over him."

"So would I. You have five minutes of my sympathy. Starting now."

"You promise not to tell anyone what I tell you?"

"Alright. I'm watertribe right? And your earthkingdom. And your an - hic- earthbender. Earthbending master."

"So it takes a bender to make a bender right?"

"Sokka that's gross. But accurate. I guess if it wern't true then non-benders would be repopulating Twinkletoes' people huh?"

"One problem with this. Neither of my parents are benders."

"So?"

"And Katara is a bender."

"So?"

"And I'm not. My father hasn't had a bender in his line for years. My grandmother isn't a bender. Look at Zuko's family. Him and his sister are benders. Ozai and Iroh are benders. But Katara and I aren't both benders."

"Maybe you shouldn't go there. I mean you can't know anything for sure. Your Mom is dead and -"

"Like I said, I love my Mom with all my heart. And in the end she sacrificed herself for her daughter. But she's not the angel Katara makes her out to be."
