The rain began to pour as he stood there on the bridge. He had his arms on the rail of the bridge and his head rested just behind them, his eyes watering. He was standing out in the rain again... alone, all alone.

He felt the ping of pain in his chest and he began to weep there, the rain pattering around him, the rivering softly rumbling below, the sky becoming grey with rain. He just wept his heart out, knowing someone was never going to come and comfort him on the back, knowing he was all alone.

His black hair began to flatten against his head, his navy shirt began to stick to him, his white shorts and gauntlets began to stick as well and water was seeping into his sandals, but he didn't care, he felt numb inside because he was so alone. His leaf headband was starting to ping with the rain as he slowly began to walk through the deserted streets, away from the bridge.

He dragged his feet through the mud as he began to go to some place his feet knew but he didn't. Slowly, things began to form in his mind, such as, raising his hand and knocking on a door, walking away as the door cracked open, not looking back, just walking... It was as if he lived in a dream of some kind.

"Sasuke!"

He just kept walking, letting himself get more and more wet, tears burning on his cold cheeks. He started to jog, hearing someone following him.

"Sasuke, wait!"

He took off at a run, back to the bridge, he was going to jump into that rumbling bliss of azure water. He managed to get to the rail before he looked back. Kakashi was running towards him, he took on huge leap off the bridge and down into the water, closing his eyes and waiting for the death he wanted so badly...

He ran to the bridge rail and looked at the white foam from Sasuke's splash and he frantically looked for a way down there to save that small child from death. He didn't want to loose this one like the last one. "Sasuke-kun, hold on!" He dove in after Sasuke, knowing where he was going. He began to swim towards Sasuke, allowing the current to pull him along. He reached Sasuke and began to pull him to the surface when he felt Sasuke struggle away. He held the small, wriggling boy close to him and managed to break the water's surface and grab a huge boulder nearby.

Sasuke's little hand made a fist and he began to cry again, his whole body shaking from the tears. Kakashi's soft hand patted him on the head and he held the small boy closer to him. Sasuke kept crying, his tears beginging to warm one spot on Kakashi's soaking wet black shirt.

Slowly, he led Sasuke back to shore, careful not to shake the boy to much. When on dry land, Kakashi began to brush away Sasuke's wet hair and he looked into those black eyes and smiled. "Dumb laws don't always have to be applied."

"Kakashi-kun!" Sasuke's small arms wrapped themselves around Kakashi's neck and he began to sob again.

"Sasuke-kun..." Kakashi held the boy.

Sasuke drew back for a moment and looked up at Kakashi. He brought his hands around to Kakashi's mask and he gently began to pull down the mask. With a small smile, Kakashi's lips were gently pressed against Sasuke's.

For a moment, the rain seemed to become even heavier, as if to hide the two lovers caught in a lawful war of age and passion. For a moment, they were free of a stupid law and free of the watchful eyes of the world. A forsaken kiss in the rain on Sasuke's birthday... made the little boy the happiest one of them all.
