It's a cold, dark, september night at Wayne Manor. Only the moon illuminates the grand mansion, and within that old mansion is an old, neatly dressed butler carrying a tray with a well made and nutritious dinner. He walks with the tray through the very intricate house. There's many paintings and old family photos that fill the halls. Most of them have a young boy with his two wealthy parents. The father and son had the same jet black hair and the same dark blue eyes. He does his best not to look at those nostalgic pictures as they would only remind him more of that horrible night.

The butler finally stops at one of many antique grandfather clock, and he sets down the tray on the closest table in the room containing the most of the moonlight. He opens it up and rotates the hands of clock to ten-forty-eight, the specific time brings an unwanted memory back to him and takes a moment of silence after he changing the time. As he picks back up the tray of beautiful food a secret passageway opens where the old clock was. He takes another moment before continuing any further.

The secret passage goes to a excessively long stairway which leads the slender butler to an ancient cave. The cave doesn't have much filling it as for it's insanely large. The cave contains a desk with files on top of files and across form that is an advanced computer set with multiple monitors, there's a complex automobile that's completely black, the cave also had a training dojo there as well. Everything is under bright industrial lights. The butler lays the dinner on one of the desks and continues to walk past everything else in the cave and finds a lonely man at the edge of the cave.

He just stands there in the darkness of the cave, and as he stood there the butler stood behind him silent. The silence lasted for a few minutes until the man in dark spoke to his butler "Alfred..." and the butler spoke as well "Yes, Master Bruce?". Bruce left the darkness and revealed his gray and black costume with a long rigged cape. On his chest there's a giant black batman, in his hand was his black cowl that was looking down at. "...I'm scared" Bruce said to Alfred. Alfred had one more moment of silence, then broke it "Me too, Bruce...". The two men embrace each other like father and son. Bruce know's he can always trust Alfred, trust him like family, because he is.

Finally Bruce slowly puts on his cowl and looks back to Alfred. Alfred's reaction is a mixture of terror and pride in his son. He just hope both are doing the right thing.
