"Ellie! Please get off of your mother!" the hare insisted, pulling the five year old girl away from the outsider as she laughed gently. She has her mothers brown hair, with her fathers curl, and dark lavender eyes. "It's alright Elliot" she insisted with a warm smile, as the hares ears twitched. "I want ears like daddy!" Ellie pouted, as the second in charge of the mafia lifted her over his shoulder. "One day, my girl. Now let's get you to bed"
As Elliot carried Ellie off to bed, Alice put her hand to her forehead. She couldn't believe how well he was handling this. Normally, when he was with the twins, it was always: "HEY! YOU BRATS STOP SCREWING AROUND!" or "YOU MAGGOTS GET OUT OF BLOODS OFFICE" or even "HEY YOU LITTLE SHITS, YOU BETTER EAT YOUR BROCCOLI!" It all seemed harsh, but Alice had come to the conclusion that it was secretly all out of love. Elliot really did care for the twins, he just had to discipline them, in hopes they would grow to be… Well, less troublesome then they already were. At least those were her thoughts, until he would pull the gun out and start shooting at them…
As he returned, he had a towel over his shoulder and shampoo bottles in his arms. "Are you going to take a bath?" she asked him curiously. "Yeah, I figured I could use one!" he grinned. "But— Uhmm…" The firey haired man blushed darkly. "I would like it if you would…. Join me" it wasn't very uncommon between the two now, but it still caused Elliot to blush every time he mentioned, or asked her of such an impure thing. Not that it mattered now that they had been married, but he still treated her as if she were still an innocent child.
Alice offered a nod, feeling her own heart beat accelerate in her chest. "Sure… I'll get my things" the rabbit smiled with relief, as he soon disappeared.

Walking into the steam clouded bathroom, she noticed Elliot was already in, humming happily to himself as he leaned back, allowing the warm water to wrap around him. She immediately got on her knees behind the man, grabbing a small bucket and pouring water over his head. It was always interesting how this habit formed. Elliot had been wounded in work, and was unable to get his arm wet, so she ended up washing his hair for him.
He sounded content as her fingers massaged shampoo through his hair. 'Everyone here has such lovely hair…' she would think, as she tenderly applied some to his ears as well. "Alice, I love you" came from the march hare, who leaned his head back onto her knees as he grinned gleefully up at her. She stared down at him, and at the foam bubbles that were now splattered all over her towel. She leaned down and placed a kiss against his lips with a wide smile. "I love you too"
Once she had rinsed the suds out of his hair, and scrubbed his ears, she soon joined him in the bath, his arm wrapped around her shoulder, and her head against his shoulder.
"Elliot… I've been curious about this for awhile" she started, as he looked down at her curiously. "What… Exactly are you? You have the ears of a rabbit— I mean, hare, you claim to hate carrots, but eat carrot dishes with no complains, and just— No, you can't use the 'I'm a dog excuse!'" she exclaimed, as the room went eerily silent.
He then proceeded to wrap her arms around her waist, and kiss her neck softly, causing Alice to blush and squirm. "E-Elliot what are you—" she started before being silenced with a kiss. "I'm complicated" he smiled grimly, as he pulled her in for another kiss.
