THE HEAD OF THE SOHMA FAMILY
Akito Sohma. Age unknown. Head of the Sohma family. I always knew I didn't like him. His voice is so cold and crisp. Although he is quite handsome, his eyes are cruel. When I found out that he made Hatori blind in his left eye, I knew that I hadn't liked him for a reason.
When he yells, it doesn't sound like his voice at all. Which is scary, and could mean that he has a split personality. When he talks to Hatori and is whispering in his ear, telling him that Khana wants to forget, I hate how Hatori has to sit there and listen to Akito knowing it's his fault to begin with!
I was horrified by the way Akito treated Yuki. Shigure called it mental abuse, but it was physical as well. Yuki's eyes when he saw Akito were so frightened, it makes me want to hurt Akito the same way he hurt Yuki. No wonder Yuki left the main house.
I think that Akito had some obscure obsession with Yuki. Not like Haru's sweet, but odd, protectiveness of Yuki. I don't even want to know what else Akito did to Yuki.
Yuki still carries the scars, but like Hatori said, "If it is possible for one person to be hurt by another it is also possible for that person to be healed by another."
Akito hurt Yuki, and now Tohru and the others are healing Yuki.
When Kyo tells Yuki that he uses Shigure to hide from Akito, you can almost see the knife go through Yuki's heart. Kyo doesn't realize what Yuki's been through, because he doesn't understand why Yuki put up with it for as long as he did.
