Peyton woke with a headache. She leaned over to the warm body next to her and said, " Good morning Jake." Pete turned over with a face of pain ," Whose Jake, Peyton?" Peyton turned to him realizing what she had just done. " What are you talking about," she said trying to cover her mistake. " I said, who's Jake?" said Pete now becoming angry with a bit of sadness in his voice. " I don't know what you're talking about." " I'm going to go and make some breakfast."
" Peyton, I'm going to ask you one more time before I leave, whose Jake , Peyton!" Pete was now ticked off. " He was in a movie I saw yesterday. I had a dream about it last night and it must have stuck with me." Peyton now realized she not only had just lied to Pete from Fall Out Boy, but she had also just lied to her boyfriend.
Peyton walked out of the room with tears running down her face. She hated lying especially to her boyfriend. Pete ate breakfast and left. Peyton went back to her room. She was realizing that she wasn't supposed to be with Pete she was supposed to be with Jake. To be continued...
