Because there are not enough fics in this fandom. Every since Foster's started airing on Boomerang again, I've fallen back in love with it and decided to write a one-shot for it. I just love Bloo and Mac's friendship, even with how much of a jerk Bloo can be you can tell he cares alot about Mac.

Frankie didn't know when she first discovered it. There was no exact moment, it just sorta happened. Bloo was a jerk anyone could see that but what she could never figure out is why. It was true that the creators made the basic ideas, names, form, some of the personality but the rest was up to the imaginary friend themselves, that's what made them real. So what made Bloo act the way he did? She always thought it was so Mac didn't have to but there was more to it than that. She first started to figure it out when Mac came to the house acting weird...

Flashback!

"FRANKIE!" Bloo shouted, "IS MAC HERE YET?" Frankie who was in the middle of cleaning one of the bathrooms yelled back.

"WHY DON'T YOU GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!"

"FINE! Gotta do everything myself." He muttered to himself as he walked to the foyer and looked at the clock, 3:10.

"Come on Mac." He muttered watching the door, Frankie who was walking by saw this and sighed.

"Don't worry Bloo any second now Mac will walk through that door with something for you guys to do." She patted him on the head and walked away, Bloo sighed and look at the clock again, 3:15. Suddenly the door started to open.

"MAC!" Bloo screamed jumping at him.

"WHOA!" Mac stumbles back before pushing Bloo back.

"Hey Bloo." He says sadly, Bloo looks at him for a few seconds before slightly shoving him.

"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?" He shouts making Mac flinch.

"Nothing Bloo let's go play some video games." He starts to walk away but Bloo pulls him back.

"Hey man is anything okay?"

"Yeah everything's fine so video games?"

"Sure."

...

"That's not fair man you cheated!" Bloo says as the walk to the door.

"How can I cheat at every game?" Mac asks with a smile. He's so wrapped up in the conversation that he completely forgot that something was upsetting him, but Frankie didn't.

After that more and more things started popping up, how when ever Bloo goes on about how he's the best Mac smiles, how when he gets food after pestering someone for theirs he shares with Mac, how on the rare days Mac can't come over Bloo doesn't have anything big planned. And after watching Mac go from crying to fighting with Bloo about something she realizes it.

Bloo's that way for Mac.
