Summary: After the great war of the Underground, He woke up from Underworld. But something happens, and Alice memories is corrupted or can be said, she's suffering amnesia. He remembers what happen when he previously restarts his childhood in Underworld. But he didn't know about something and someone tell him something unexpected.

10 minutes after critical acceleration phase, Koujirou POV...

"Koujirou-san, there's a problem with Alice Lightcube" I and Kikouka who currently working with STL shut down immediately turn our focus to him.

"What's the problem again, Higa? I just down from reactor, What's else? I'm just fucking sick with all of this." He just asks frustratedly, although he whispers the last part, we still heard it from him.

'Maybe all of this taking toll at him' I just sigh, We're still human after all.

"Her memories are..." He looks down frustratedly and mumbling something incorporable.

"What is it, Higa?" I ask impatiently

"Her memories are corrupted, she would only remember memories before she taken to «Axiom Church». Even if I tried to restore it, it will be difficult because we don't fully understand Quantum system. Digital and Quantum system is different, what I can do now is copying it and analyze it."

'Kami-sama, please help us and them to make it' I silently praying while thinking how to fix this problem.

10 minutes later, Kazuto POV...

"...Their fluctlight is at the utmost limit! And their mental activity is almost disappeared, Kazuto has hope, but... Look! He's waking up!" I just hear some conservation, looks like I made it.

"Wh-What- 's happ-pening, where's Asuna?" I ask tiredly, my mind just... full, I just can't think much now.

"Sorry Kazuto, but I recommend you to recover a bit first. Then, tomorrow I'll tell you" Higa just push me down again and after that, I was transported to the medic room and have several checks.

Tomorrow, Medic room...

"... sure, about that? It'll be hard..." A female voice heard from outside, I tried to listen but my head just pounding again.

"I just tell..., I wouldn't do it Higa" A mature voice joined in, I think its just random conservation.

"...We're responsible..., to HIM!" Just who's is that childish voice?

"I disturbed you know, please be silent!" I shout, it's better than having much people shouting and annoy me.

"Just... get in, wouldn't we?" Then the door is opened, revealing 2 person I know and a foreign woman.

"We're sorry if we disturb you, Kazuto. Ah, my name is Dr. Koujirou Rinko, Yoroshiku" I just smiled at her after introduction.

"We're here to test your memories, although we should invite your family, but they're not here. So, I and Kiku-san will attend for them. For starter, what do you know about yourself?"

"I am Kirigaya Kazuto, 17 years old, a SAO survivor, my closest people are Kaa-san, Tou-san, Suguha, A...! Asuna! Where's her?!" They then put a guilty expression, I raised an eyebrow, I just didn't understand the situation.

"Kazuto, I forget to say this. Do you wish to know the truth even it's hurting your feelings? We just want to make sure you're ready" I gulped heavily after I drank water, this is a difficult choice.

"I... didn't want to run from reality anymore, I'm ready"

"Kazuto..." Kikouka is tightening his hand, I didn't find it normal.

"Yes?" They're frowning, but who's the most open is Higa. I'm more confused with this situation. They're averting their gazes, but Koujirou-sensei continued.

"Then, (Sobs) What about Alice?" 'I hope she's alright, Kami-sama'

"She makes it, but she's... She's having amnesia" I just... Broke down further, I can't hold it right now. 'Eugeo, please forgive my fault' And I blackout.

3rd POV...

"Kazuto is recovering, but he's maybe had a trauma. In his record, he's involved in several memory cases, worst is when he's breakdown in STL. He's lucky not breaking down again after acknowledge it. We just hoping he didn't have a bad trauma after this and... We're truly sorry" They were bowing to Kirigaya's and Yuuki's, because they're not knowing about their condition.

Suguha knows Kazuto is currently at the Underworld, but she doesn't know about his condition. So, it's useless to tell her parents or their panic is getting worse. Yuuki's panic is getting up board, but after they're telling her... condition, they just broke into tears. They're offering funding and protection from government, Yuuki's accept it but Kirigaya's say, "The choice is at Kazuto hand".

A week later, Kazuto POV...

Before leaving the Hospital, Kikouka-san is asking me about what I want.

"So, Kazuto for our apologies, what do you want?"

"I just have 3 requests besides your offer, Kikouka-san. First, I want Alice fully at my hand and helped by your three. Second, I want guaranty I accepted at Tokyo university at Neuroscience. Third, I want my family and friends protected too, only insurance and dedicated VPN maybe?" They're is shocked, He's maybe wondered why my attitude is changing suddenly.

"I've changed, Kikouka-san. I learned from my past, I learned that I have to start my long-term planning, I shouldn't dwell too much on past, I've matured, Kikouka" They're shocked again and I swear I saw them shivered, maybe because my eyes sharping and my voice started to get low pitched.

"I didn't too confidence at your second request, but I'll try. Contact one of us if you need help, we'll return your favor. We'll meet again at your house, good luck, Kazuto"

After that, we departed to our own destination. When I got home, they greet me warmly. But I can sense a little cautious mood.

"Kaa-san, Tou-san, Suguha. You all don't have to worry about me, and... I've decided to give half the money to yours and started to live alone" They seem shocked, too. Maybe they don't expect myself to change like this, in my opinion, my old self was... Unstable, a little bit lazy and quite tempered.

"It's looks like it was the best choice, we're always come home late. We also want you to be independent so, it's the best choice for us" She just blushed more, I just smiled at their behavior.

"It's settled then, I and Suguha will live together in one week. And I might have to plan my school absent excuse, maybe I buy that house near our school..." After that I started planning everything, and I have plenty time, it's Saturday though.

A week later 19:00, New House, Kazuto POV...

As we arrive at my new home, furniture is already arranged. I only buy new furniture for something we don't have like, TV, air conditioner, etc.

As we get in there's Kitchen at right, opposite of it was Dining room and Living room is in front of Dining room. There's backyard at backside of the house. There's Guest room and Bathroom beside entrance. Upstairs there's my room beside Suguha and a balcony facing backyard at outside our room, it's connected for security and space purpose. I have own computer room at opposite of our room, our gadget is there, we decide to sit at sofa first. It's not that far, but my motorcycle and our bike are already here so, we have to walked a bit.

We dive in after our rest at dedicated gadget room, and I quite surprised when everyone is gathering at the Live tree.

"I'm sorry if I a little bit dense, bet why is everyone is gathering here?" I asked with my pure curiosity, I've got some idea but it's better to hear directly from their mouth.

"We're here is to apologies for every burden we put at your shoulders, we all burden you. Form SAO..." Silica is stopped but continued by the others, "ALO..." "Death gun..." "OS accident, and everything else, Kirito" And every one is bowing to me deeply, I felt a guilty run down my spine.

"A-Ah, everyone! Don't worry about it, I was the one who should thank and apologies to yours. I was the one who burden all of you at grand war of the Underground so, for your help I thank you to all of you" Everyone looks surprised and my friends are shocked, Suguha and Yui don't seems surprised because they're know my change of attitude. But then, Sinon interjected.

"Why Ka-Kirito? Why you accept it so easily, even we're still not willing her... Departure" I expect this, but she's not the one I expect to ask this.

"We all changed, Shi-Sinon, so I do too. And I thankful to Kami-sama I get through all this, because of that, we meet each other. I didn't think if I not suffer through the Death game, I don't think we'll meet in the first place. So, I thanks to you all" After that, I just logged out from ALO. I... just want to calm down myself a bit. Apparently, Suguha is logging out too. While I'm at balcony, she hugs me from behind.

"You don't have to take all the burden, Onii-chan. And it's always your habit to do that, it's not good for your health" She stroking my back, it's soothing and I just smiled and cried at the night sky.

"You want to cry at my shoulder again, Onii~-chan?" I flustered at that memory, she's teasing me, but she lights up my mood. 'Suguha, someday... You'll be a wonderful person'

"I want to but, it's almost midnight. Let's get to sleep, Suguha"

"But- "

"No buts" I said with commanding tone. 'Even it's summer break, I didn't want you to be insomniac like me' After that, I locked the computer room and get to my room. Then suddenly, Suguha knocked my door.

"What's wrong? Did you can't sleep so you want to sleep with me?" I teased her a bit, I know she think about something lately, but I decided to not fuss about it.

"Wh-What! I-I-It's not like that, I just miss you because you're not at home pretty long!" Her voice is a bit too loud, but I just shrug it off.

"I'm joking, let's sleep at futon like we used when we're little, and don't speak too loud, you maybe wake some neighbor" She's just averted her gaze so her face doesn't face mine, but I know she's blushing. Then, we're finally sleep at our futon. Don't get some idea. Our futon is separated so, don't think something perverted.

Next morning...

I wake up at 5:00, I take a bath and start to make breakfast. After a while, Suguha started to wake up and we started to eat breakfast, when we having breakfast, my Augma is ringing.

'I don't set alarm, but there's no event though. Ah, maybe it's him' Then, I started walk to get my Augma.

"Konichiwa, Kazuto. Can I go to your house? We're currently at your parent house, do you mind if I go now?"

"Oh, you can head now, Suguha already woke up. So, I don't mind it" I answered his question, I hope it's about Alice.

"I'll head there now, see you there" After having breakfast, I tell Suguha to make some tea. While I wait, I started continuing my summer homework. It's piled up because Underworld situation and, a bit lazy old me. Then, the bell ring.

"Hello, Kikouka, Higa, Koujirou-sensei" I greet them politely but, someone is behind them. Then, they dissolved and revealing 2 girls I very well known.
