ATTENTION EVERYONE! I'll be briefly breaking my Hiatus and having a Halloween contest. I'll be posting Halloween themed stories, horror themed, or one's that end with a cliff-hanger! The story that gets the most reviews, will be the one I update on Halloween!(and maybe a few other surprises. heh. heh.)

"This is unbelievable! This thing sent us through time and space!" Shouts an amazed Pearl as she examines the device that sent them to this strange, barren land.
Rose Quartz just shakes her head. "That's great Pearl...but can you send us back? We need to return quickly!" They'd been in the middle of a fight with Homeworld when that strange creature with no face and a business suite appeared out of nowhere and threw the device at them...which sent them here.
Pearl flustered, but nodded. "Yes...it seems complex, but it's actually quite simple. I just need to find the right frequency...but that could take awhile."
Rose nodded, urged her to hurry. Then left the cave they were in to keep watch. Rose didn't like this place. She could tell it had once been beautiful...but now it was just a wasteland. Scarred by war and death...Oh, how she hoped that the same fate didn't await earth.
And then she saw a peculiar sight...not too far away, a man was talking to the boy...but why was he- Wait, is that a hand!? Exclaimed Rose to herself.
And sure enough, a hand had just sprouted from the ground and grabbed his ankle! But why- And then the man was gone, his whole body just dragged underground.
Before Rose can comprehend what she's just seen, more hands sprout of the ground! They also sprout eyes and look at the boy. They have him surrounded.
"Help me! Someone, please! Help me! Help me!" Calls out the boy. Rose doesn't need to be told twice, she swoops down and grabs the boy.
ZAP!
She looks up to see a bunch of Biplane Buzz Soldiers gunning for her. "ROSE! I'VE FOUND THE FREQUENCY! THE PORTAL IS OPEN! HURRY!"
Rose quickly flies back into the cave and through the portal, just as the Biplanes bomb it.

Pearl pants. "Well, we made it back in one piece...but that device is totaled." Rose wasn't listening though, she was busy calming down the boy who was in her arms. "Don't worry, everything is going to be fine. Your going to be okay...what is your name by the way?"
"Davros...my name is Davros...

AN: I know it says "in-progress" but really I just don't like boxing myself into a corner. For now this is more of a one-shot that I might continue one day...but probably won't.
But, hey. Feel free to use whatever elements you want from this, if you want! Or maybe give me ideas?
