I'm back! With Crack this time! Huzzah!
This takes place after they've moved together.
Disclaimer: If I owned Avenue Q, it would be on DVD for me to enjoy every day. Without making me money-less.
Kate tapped her foot. She let out an irritated sigh and barely refrained from shoving the bouquet of flowers she held down a certain someone's throat. It had been such a nice day too. Though it was obvious he was stalling for god knows what, she did have fun, and she was sure he maybe kind-of enjoyed it too, through his panicked improvising.
But now the date was over and her patience was steadily decreasing.
"Princeton," she said in her sugary 'There Will Be Hell' voice, "you have about ten seconds to move away from that doorway."
Princeton gulped. He knew that once he moved, all would be lost, but damn Kate was scary! Sighing in defeat, he reluctantly moved away from the doorway to their apartment, mentally preparing himself for coming explosion as his girlfriend brushed past him. Kate stopped in her tracks as the scene processed through her head.
"Princeton…" Kate started, in a dazed tone, "Trekkie is on the floor of our apartment, surrounded by beer bottles. In a dress."
He blanched. That wasn't what he expected! "Wh-"
"A. FREAKING. DRESS."
Princeton cursed Nicky. Knowing how unreliable he was, he expected a half-cleaned mess, the type that Kate gets really pissy about, rather than him neglecting to clean up after his stupid little 'party', instead helping the mess along by inviting Trekie of all people. It just had to be Trekkie.
"It's not my fault!" he started, flustered. "Nicky got drunk and I left the apartment unlocked while getting groceries while you were teaching and when I came home there was a huge mess and Nicky promised to have it cleaned by evening so I had to distract you and now it's even worse and Trekkie-"
SLAP.
A pause. Princeton gingerly touched his throbbing cheek and winced at the sting. Holy crap that hurt!
"What the hell was that for!?!"
"You were getting hysterical. Now help me drag Trekkie ."
"Wha- Where?"
"Where else?" Kate spat venomously. "We're leaving Nicky a little gift in a magenta dress on his doorstep."
Princeton shuddered and tried to avoid looking at the vision in pink as he assisted his girlfriend in dragging the dead-drunk body of his neighbor to the porch of his idiot friend.
Argh I hate endings argharghargh.
This was inspired by a random doodle I did with Kate threatening to shove flowers down Princeton's throat. Huzzah for doodles!
You like it? You hate it? You feel it could be better? While elaborating how and telling me how to do that?
