One day Jess was walking to the ADD and she slipped down a step in her favourite heals and the heal snapped, so she took them off and said to herself "why did I wear these today I knew something was going to go wrong, and it had to be this, anything else, but not this, these cost £200 and that was out of my own money"

Becker overheard Jess complaining while sitting on the step, so he walked over to her and asked what was wrong, and he saw the broken shoes and then Jess replied "they broke by me falling over the stupid step. They were £200 and my favourite ones as well. I never should have worn them! I just knew something was going to go wrong today, I thought it would be like you getting hurt, but no… my shoe broke!"

"Well you could just walk around in bare feet, ha I love doing that it is so fun, and it makes your feet smooth!" said Becker trying to make the situation better

"THAT IS A GREAT IDEA, I love you, but I don't know whether Lester would let me!"

"Just let me deal with him, if not I could shoot him with an EMD on the lowest category!" explained Becker trying to sound hard!

"No Becker you can't, he will fire you!"

"Not if I fire first" said Becker trying to make Jess laugh by a stupid joke!

"Just ask him and no shooting, so give me your EMD" said Jess being serious

"You aren't being serious" as he looked at Jess in disbelief "Oh here you go then, but I want it back as soon as I come to you afterwords! Deal?"

"Deal"

So Becker went into Lester's office and explained all about Jess' shoe, and what did Lester reply "well it is against the rules but I suppose so, but the company isn't to blame if she brakes a toe or anything. So you can take compensation out of your minds!"

"I know not the company's fault if anything brakes!" said Becker a little annoyed!

Becker wandered back to Jess as she handed him back is EMD and he explained the situation

"So that's a yes then?" said Jess confused about the whole conversation!

"Yes he said that is fine!"

So Jess went the whole day with no shoes on, she loved feeling the floor beneath her but one time she did have to go outside and that part she didn't like!

The next day

Jess walked into the ark with pumps on, that was the first time Becker had seen Jess not wearing heals! And he found that a bit weird! "Jess why haven't you got the usual high shoes on?"

"Because I love wearing no shoes so I wore some that I can just slip on and off so when we go out I can just put them on and they are easier to run in! So whenever she needed to be somewhere quick she wasn't killing her feet and it is better for your feet if you wear flats!" Jess exclaimed to Becker!

So for the next month Jess wore the same pumps and slipped them on and off as she was walking around the ark, but Becker was dropping off her chocolate when he saw her shoes sitting under the ADD so to play a trick on her he took them and hid them in her locker with a note!

So when she got back to the ADD she was wondering why her shoes weren't there so she looked and asked everyone but she couldn't find them, so at the end of the day she got her coat out of her locker and her shoes fell out with a not, she looked at the note and it said:

Ha I wish I could see your face when you start looking for them, but don't get mad at me it was just a bit of harmless fun, next time you should be more careful where you put your shoes ( a tip take a bag around where you can put them and then no one will take them at steal them!) love ya babes Becker x x x

Jess found the funny side and just left it so she carried on with her pumps in a little shoulder bag, the tip that Becker gave her and she only mentioned how funny and stupid it was to leave her shoes where and whenever she wants, but that was a lesson she learnt
