Is This A Dream?
Rachel stood at her locker, humming, putting her things from english away when she was interupted with a throat clearing. she turned around startled.
"Hey Rachel."
Finn stood there with a kind smile on his face, a smile that made rachels heart flip.
"Hello finn, what's up?"
"Well i'm kinda freakin out over sectionals and was wondering if you could help me out with some of the higher notes?"
"Sure."
"Thanks Rachel, your a life saver."
Finn walked off and rachel decided that it was time to make her move, she had chosen finn. Rachel had only liked one boy, Finn, that was until puck had joined glee and she heard him sing. When she dated puck she felt happy, but then she was missing notes in her performances and had to break it off. Then She had no idea who she liked more out of puck and finn, until now.
At Glee rehearsals Quinn decides to give the lead of don't stop believing back to rachel because she isn't sure she can do it with the baby on the way, finn also says he will sit out of that song to support her, but immediatly regrets it when Mr Shue gives Puck the male lead vocals.
Rehearsal ends and everyone leaves except rachel, she stays to retune herself with the song.
"Hey."
Rachel is startled by the sudden voice behind her, she turns to see puck standing there with the sheet music in his hand.
"Hello Noah, why haven't you left yet?"
"well we haven't got football practice today and i really need your help."
"What with?"
"do you think that maybe you could help me with the song, its my first song that i have to sing to an audience and i am kinda nervous."
"Of course."
Rachel and Puck both run throught the song three times before rachel has to start getting home.
"Thanks rachel."
"that's okay Noah."
They both stand there for a minute right next to each other, puck takes a step forward so that there is only a few centimeters distance between there face. They both stare into each others eyes and then puck puts his hand at the back of rachels head, only his thumb in front of her ear.
He leans in and kisses her softly, then she reacts and kisses him back putting one hand at the back of his neck and the other round his waist.
He keeps his hand on her face and puts the other on the small of her back, pulling her closer to him. A few minutes later and they both have to break apart gasping for air.
He kisses her forehead and then leaves rachel in the auditorium out of breath.
"Thanks."
She sighs to herself.
