Darkness. It wasn't a new feeling to Cruella, but the throbbing in her head was. Groggily coming to, Cruella began to hear a masculine voice,
"I know why you couldn't release your voice. Only the one who enchanted it could do that."
I know that voice, who..
"You don't mean." Ursula? Who is she talking to?
"Aye" Hook. That bastard pirate.
"Father." Father? Why would he be here, Ursula despises him. Cruella slowly opens her eyes, and can see first the feet of several people standing by the door. As she looks up she takes notice of the Charming clan, Why didn't Ursula deal with them yet? Then as she'd thought, Hook, and beside him Ursula, What are you doing? Standing in the doorway is the one person she had not expected Ursula's father, the man who ruined her.
"Ursula." Poseidon addresses her. Want does he want?
"How are you here? In this land?" Cruella rolls her head to better see the scene in front of her. When she glances toward Ursula she can clearly see the awe and longing for her Father written on her face.
"A young mermaid found me and brought me through a portal. I need to say something," Cruella feels a pull in her chest the slight burn of anger, Don't listen to him Darling, "I'm sorry Ursula." He's lying, don't trust him. "I never should have made you use your voice as a weapon. It was just every time I heard you sing I heard your mother, and it was too painful." It doesn't make what he did right, Ursula don't do this. Still slightly disoriented Cruella begins to sit up leaning on her elbow for support. "I let that pain fuel my desire for vengeance, but it shouldn't have. It should have reminded me that I still have a piece of her. You. Let me return your voice so I can hear it one last time."
Cruella watches as Ursula glances towards her father uncertainly before handing him the shell in her hands. She watches as Ursula is given back the voice she'd used to dream about, the one she'd tell Cruella she missed on night's when they were together. Cruella watched as she lost the one thing she knew could have had any chance of making her happy, Ursula don't leave me.
"Now that you are whole again, I'll leave you in piece." Cruella let out a ragged breath watching as Poseidon turned to leave.
"Wait. My voice is all we have left of Mother, and I don't want to take that from you." Cruella's head jerked towards Ursula, Don't do this please don't do this.
"What do you mean?"
"I've missed you." No. "Ursula?" Cruella breathed.
"I've missed you too." The burn of tears began, yet she refused to let them fall, Cruella felt the last of hope fade in her chest as her former lover hugged her father.
Cruella let out a pained, "No", she gasped, "You give her back." Unsteadily Cruella began to stand rushing toward the back door of the cabin; behind her she could hear the confused mumbling of the so-called hero's concerning her. Ignoring getting into her car Cruella felt the first and last of her tears fall, "I'll get you back Ursula, I won't let you go easily." Steeling herself she turned the engine and sped off, intent on finding the few people she left who could help her.
