Dear Mum and Dad,
This is weird for me, writing to you, because I didn't know you at all. Harry tells me about you all the time, and when I was little I used to think that you two were like the other story book characters I read about. Now that I've grown up I know that you wren't some mystical heros. I know you were just ordinary wizards trying to make the world a better place for your loved ones and...me.
Mum, all I know about you is you were a brave witch, who cared deeply for her friends and family. You were quirky and fun and changed your appearance to make others laugh. I can do that too, grandma gets a sad smile on her face when I change my nose into a pig's snout, but everyone else seems to love it. I wish I could have known you, I wish you could have been there to teach me how to Metamorphic like you could.
Dad, Harry tells me that you were one of the bravest men he's ever known, and that you were able to keep his father in check when you went to school. He also told me that you were a good friend of his, both inside and outside of school. I also learned recently that you were a werewolf, and because of that your marriage to Mum was frowned upon by most other wizards. You were brave enough to stick to what you believed in and stay with Mum through thick and thin no matter what.
Well, thats about all I have to say, not much has changed. All I really wanted to say is that I know why you died and I understand that you were trying to make a world in which I could live a happier life.
