Harry Potter sat happily in his favorite chair of the Gryffindor common room. He and Ginny had just gone out under his invisibility cloak for a moonlit walk. They had laughed and talked and kissed. But soon Ginny had declared that she was too cold, so they had to go back inside. Just as Harry had plopped in his current seat, Ginny announced that she had something for him, and went to her dormitory running.
Now Harry was eagerly waiting for her. He looked at the fireplace and saw that the fire was almost out. He got his wand out and muttered "Incendio". A red, blazing fire sprang to life. For a moment he was reminded of the time that he had seen Sirius appear there. Then Ginny came to his mind. Her brown eyes and her hair, as red as the fire he had just lit.
"Harry, I got it!" Ginny's voice said from behind him. He turned around just in time to see Ginny at the bottom of stairs that led to the girl's dormitory. She was carrying a little bright green parcel with a red bow at the top. Harry made all the space he could so that she could seat down next to him. Ginny squeezed her small body next to Harry's and gave him her present.
Harry took it with his right hand, the one that wasn't squeezed between him and Ginny, and slowly opened it. Inside was a silver pocket watch with the letters 'H' and 'P' carefully carved. He turned it around and saw the letters 'G' and 'W'. Harry looked at Ginny. She was watching him nervously.
"What?" Harry asked.
"Open it." Ginny said, her voice a just louder than a whisper.
Harry did as he was told. A beautiful watch with the moon and the sun as hands was inside. On the other side was a picture of his parents by the Black Lake. Next to it was another one very similar, but this one looked newer. It was a picture of Harry and Ginny.
That day, Hermione had told Harry to stop bothering Ginny because she needed to study for her O. . So, when Hermione turned around, Harry grabbed Ginny by the hand and sneakily got out of the common room. They spend the afternoon together just going around the lake and talking about what Hermione would do after they returned to the common room.
At some point, Ginny said she wanted to rest, so they sat down in the shade of a big oak tree. Harry had his back leaned on the tree while Ginny was resting on his lap. Ginny had seen Colin Creevey with his camera nearby, and so she asked him to take a photo of them. Harry didn't know what the photo was for until now.
"Thank you." Harry said with a smile. He leaned over to kiss her. Ginny deepened the kiss and soon both of them were out of breath.
"I love you." Harry said with his eyes closed. He opened them to see Ginny looking at him with the widest smile he had ever seen in her face.
"I love you too." She said.
Harry kissed her one more time before putting his arm around her. Ginny rested her head on his shoulder, and after some comfortable, quite time, Harry looked at her to see that she had fallen asleep. Not wanting to wake her up, Harry just sat there until he finally started to feel sleepy too. And not really caring about what Ron might say in the morning, Harry fell asleep.
