Morgan could tell that it was going to be a fun day. It was bright and sunny outside and the spring air was crisp. Her blonde hair swished behind her as she skipped to class. Today, the Hufflepuffs had Herbology with the Gryffindors. This should be very fun, Morgan thought to herself. You see, Morgan was terribly infatuated with a certain Gryffindor in her year that had brilliantly red hair. First off, the pairing of houses for class was odd. Normally the Gryffindors were paired with Slytherin. Secondly, Professor Sprout declared that you could not partner up with other members of your house for the activity. At this declaration, Morgan sidled up next to Ron. He looked down at her, he was so gloriously tall. They had never talked and he didn't know her name. He smiled comfortably and asked."I'm Morgan," she said, slightly breathless. He was so much better up close. "I of course know who you are. You're Ron Weasley, our king," Morgan said with a tentative grin. After class Ron chivalrously walked her back up to the castle. Morgan had gotten her hand pricked by something or another and she couldn't carry her things. At the door to the Great Hall Ron handed off her books to her waiting friends, then took her hand and examined it. "It should be all better in time for tomorrow's class," he remarked. "You're a great partner and I wouldn't want to lose you to one bloody little thorn!"Morgan beamed and rushed back to her friends, pulling out her schedule. The Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs had class together for the rest of the week. Her grey eyes sparkled with excitement.
