Hi all so I wrote this story originally a few years ago and due to a few nasty reviews I never continued so here is an altered and fixed version of the first chapter.
Rachel had always thought that it would be her and Finn who would carry New Directions to glory but no he chose Quinn. Then when that fell through he chased her again even though she made it perfectly clear that she didn't want any kind of relationship till after nationals and defiantly not until he had cleared the air with Quinn. On top of that there was teams utter dislike for all her ideas and the general bullying the glee kids got at WMH she felt completely worn down and depressed. Her father's worried about her so much and she didn't want to be the cause of their worry she loved them too much for that, so the next time they brought up the Subject of a transfer she agreed to it.
She started looking at all the different schools in her local area none of glee knew yet she asked her Dads not to say anything to anyone till she had found a school. She decided not to even consider Carmel too may bad memories. However the next day at school Carmel came looking for her in the form of VA's new coach who followed her around telling her all she could expect to receive being a part a VA when she transferred to Carmel. He followed her all day barraging her until she just gave in and said yes she would transfer there. She called her dads who filled out and handed in her paperwork to finalise her transfer to start on the Monday of next week. Rachel spent the rest of the week walking around the school on auto pilot her brain trying to think of a way to let the glee club know without hurting them they were still her friends after all.
Mr. Shue began to say that the glee club needed to pick their set list for nationals but Rachel stopped him "Then maybe Mr. Shue you should let me say my bit." she heard her glee club groan "What now man hands?" Santana piped in. Rachel had wanted to do it gently so not to hurt them but they didn't give her the same courtesy which made Rachel's blood boil and before she could stop herself "I am transferring out of WMH that's what Santana!" flew out of her mouth towards the fiery Latina. Which caused the whole club begin to shout at her Mr. Shue stepped in to stop them once the shock had worn off "Ok guys enough how can you expect Rachel to answer any of the questions you are throwing at her if you shout at her at once." The club mumbled but quieted down and Finn asked "Where are you transferring to Rachel?" With a hopeful look on his face like he thought he could talk her out of it. Rachel just swallowed deeply it was the question she knew they would ask but had wanted to avoid "Oh umm ..." she was just about to say Carmel when Sunshine and the rest of VA walked in, Sunshine took a seat in the back of the room. "What is going on here?" Mr Shue bellowed at the VA coach who just stared at Rachel before he beckoned her forward so Rachel stood and stepped forward into the ranks of VA. "Well Shue we are swapping members, you see Rachel has transferred to us and Sunshine here to you enjoy." Finn's face fell then "THIS IS ABOUT HIM IS'T IT RACHEL." he screamed at her as he stood up and stormed towards her but before he reached her VA closed ranks around her "Not happening freight train you see at Carmel we are anti bullying. We are done here see you at completion Shue."
What Rachel didn't know though was that Jesse was stood within VA's ranks when they collected Rachel and disposed of Miss. Forever sunshine. Who if you asked him was irritating beyond believe. She was always so happy and so perfectly nice and sweet. He hadn't been happy since Rachel and well he was perfect but he loved to tear down his competition. She didn't she would cry and beg them not to or she would warn the club. So when Rachel's dads had spoken to Shelby about schools they could recommend to Rachel Shelby had said Carmel and told the new VA coach who proceeded to poach her from New Directions. When he learned Rachel was joining them Jesse may have suggested they swap the two girls which the rest of VA jumped on the idea.
