A/N: Hello once again friends! This is my submission for "Chit Chat on Author's Corner Fanfic Challenge 2". My prompt was Morgan/Prentiss, Morgan/Todd, using the song "The Unavoidable Battle of Feelings" by FM Static. This is considerably shorter than anything I've written, but it's all I could come up with. I hope you guys like it! This takes place during the episide "52 Pickup" and is told from Morgan's POV.

Reid and I got back to the station after visiting a few clubs and distributing pictures of our unsub about five minutes ago. I was praising and teasing him about the beautiful waitress, Austin, whom he'd impressed with his new-found "game". I always knew he had it in him. Kid just needed a friendly push in the right direction. We were laughing it up, having a good time. Well, I was laughing it up; he was blushing and trying to hide. And then Prentiss and Todd walked in.

Damn, I thought. I'm in trouble.

I wasn't so surprised by how gorgeous Prentiss looked. Working alongside her for the past two years, I knew how beautiful she was, especially when she turned up the heat. There was no denying the affect she could have on any hot-blooded male. I also knew that, as a teammate, she was most definitely off-limits. Not to mention she'd probably shoot me if I ever tried to make a move on that beautiful body of hers.

But Jordan Todd was only a temporary teammate. And damn, tonight she was smokin'! I thought she looked good in the coffee shop that day, but tonight… Short black dress that hugged all the right places, beautiful curls hanging loosely around her shoulders, those eyes, legs that go for miles, that radiant smile...

"Put your eyes back in your head, Morgan."

Busted. By Prentiss of all people! Jordan Todd has definitely thrown me off my game. I didn't even realize I was staring. Okay, ogling is more like it. I got caught. I never get caught! Not to mention I had a little problem. I had to shift in my seat to relieve the pressure building in my pants. I only hoped Prentiss didn't catch that. I'd never hear the end of it! They both laughed as they walked back to the locker room to change. Even Reid was chuckling.

"You seem to have a predicament," Reid said as he walked past me to give Hotch the details of our evening. The kid couldn't have been more right. Predicament, indeed. I have to work with this woman for the next few months. I've got to get a grip, or that woman's gonna be the death of me.

It's that unavoidable battle of feelings.
