My Neck May Be Broken…

"We'll break free!" Sharpay read from her script.

"How, Minnie?" Troy asked, not taking his eyes off of his script.

Both were sitting in Sharpay's million-dollar living room. Sharpay had been given the part of Minnie for Gabriella had died in a car crash two weeks before. Troy had not gotten over his sadness.

"I can't do this, Sharpay!" Troy shouted, throwing his book at the wall in anger, which made a big whole in the wall because he was so angry.

"What can't you do, Troy?" Sharpay asked, grabbing some Spackle and trying to fix the wall.

Troy broke down crying because of his sadness and sat Indian-Style in the middle of the floor. He hitting his fist into the coffee table's leg, which caused it to break off, and the table fell on top of him. He felt his neck break but did nothing about it because he was just too sad.

"I- am- just- too- sad!" Troy screamed through his tears. "And now I can't feel my legs."

Sharpay had finished Spackling the wall and was throwing away the broken coffee table. She sat next to him, petting his head, and said, "Don't worry, my pet, I will always love you!"

"You will?" Troy asked sniffling.

"Yes. But you won't be able to play basketball anymore!" Sharpay said thinking, 'He better still be rich… and hawt!'

"Why can I not?" Troy asked sadly.

"Because you broke your neck, sweetie," Sharpay answered.

"Oh, is that why I can't feel my legs?" Troy asked.

"Yes," Sharpay answered. "Or that could be because your hypothermia has returned!"

"It could be that!" Troy said. He stood up and grabbed her hands. "My neck may be broken but no one can break us apart!"

He pulled her into a kiss but after he did Sharpay put a hand on her heart dramatically. She then fell to the ground in pain. Troy followed her down.

"My love, what is wrong?" Troy asked her, grabbing her hand that was not on her heart.

"I think I am having a heart attack!" She then died in his arms.

That night Troy cried himself to sleep and never woke up again.
