Most kids would love to be able to say 'My parent is a hero.' I luck though and I can say that, because my parents are Percy and Annabeth Jackson. However after an accident that left mum a shell of herself and both camps grieving for their hero and savior. I got at six what every teen wants. To be the on in control, and I became the parent-like-figure to my 18 younger siblings...

Introduction

I was a perfect model student before dad died, straight A's, perfect record. After that, well it fell down to an A, B average. You may be thinking, 'Wait straight A's, perfect record, your only like six, how can that be much to go by?' or 'Well yeah trauma caused by death of parent understandable.'

My twin brother and I started school in Kinder at two, but they said we were more advanced than that and we were put in first grade at two. So Lee and I were in fifth grade at age six when dad died. To the second comment, no, it was not my trauma that effected me, it was mum's. After dad died she had a melt down and became depressed. The weight of caring for the family fell on me, because I am the oldest. I practically became the parent to everyone. I made sure everyone ate, didn't fight, did their homework etc. I cooked, I bathed the kids, I soothed everyone to sleep, I changed the baby dippers, I shopped. It all fell on my shoulders, especially after Auntie Piper gave me the horn of plenty, so that I could use in to feed the newborn octuplets.
