Pity for Hate
He'd done so much, destroyed so much, and yet in the end all they could feel for him was pity. None of them could hate; Keenan remembered Merukimon's wise words all too well, and Marcus…Marcus couldn't find it in himself to hate, after what it had done to Agumon.
But even if he hadn't corrupted the burst mode with that feeling of complete and utter betrayal, he didn't think he could hate Kurata. He was just that pathetic: a pain to the end, yes, but pathetic.
And it wasn't worth decimating the memories of all those dead digimon for hate.
