Something about him made him seem unobtainable. I could have anything they said, anyone, the world was mine. Well where is the only thing I have ever wanted? Is it some sort of punishment? My haughtiness, my sadness, every emotion that I release reminds me of the unobtainable. That black bird remains in his cage smiling and laughing as always. Can he not see that he's as trapped as me? Can't he see that he's unobtainable? People stare in and he smiles back, completely oblivious to the fact that he's madly, deeply, completely, sorrowfully, lonely, brokenly, chokingly, blackly, truly unobtainable.
