I shouldn't be putting another story when I just added two the last two days, and am still waiting on some feedback for those, but oh well. Is it just me, or does this contain a lot of fancy terms? Maybe it is just me. Well here we go, water and fire, we have our opposites. It starts with me just getting right to the point, no intro. 'Salty addiction' is talking about the salty sea he's referring her to. Enjoy (hopefully) and review!

He was drowning in her, her azure eyes which were regarded with rippled tears and her contagious smile which ferried secluded waves of anguish at their farewell. He would not loose his composure when he was so close to his goal, he would not let his exterior melt in her allaying currents.

He knew it was hard to say 'goodbye', but he had to prove to her that he would not let his blazing determination be extinguished by a lucid crush alone, as it was outlawed to seek the heart of his childhood friend, even if it was identified as the salty addiction it was. A thirst for knowledge was appropriate, but for her sea hued eyes was a taboo his mind created the day he saw her no longer as an another girl at the market.

He took pride with him like a suitcase, a mask of authority over his self and possessions, a stead-fast resistance against past sins and the incoming future. He would fight to regain his faults against the odds, whether it be as a Dog of the Military or not.

He would not retreat from his goals, his promises, his Winry. He could not disperse in those brooks of sapphire orbs, take the easy way out, and have his happy ending.

He had not earned the right to love her so, yet something told him she would overcome him before the Divine allowed it. As fire, he held no power to the water she sustained under tidals of wrench fits and the soothing hums of her company as they sat and watched the dusk pebbles under their feet be brushed by the rivers calm, seething wrath.

He was drowning in her, and it had never felt so good to be home.
