1. I lay here awake, an empty bottle of firewhisky limp in hand. All I can think about right now is you. Your soft golden hair, pale skin, blue eyes. You being held tightly in his arms not mine; the way it's supposed to be.
2. I can hear the soft roar of the T.V. you had insisted on buying way back then. Usually I can drown out your memory through whisky and the telly. But not this tonight.
3. Tears stream down my face, and I sink to my knees, because reality has just set in. You're not coming back. You're never coming back.
4. I can't tell reality from dreaming. Without you I'm nothing. Nothing.
5. This is it. I think to myself. No more pain and suffering.
6. It hurts. But nothing could ever amount to the pain I caused you.
7. I'm screaming now. Lost in flames.
8. "Why?!" I scream. "Why did you leave me?!" but I know the answer and that almost hurts more than when you left me.
9. I need you. Without you I can't live.
10. I'm sorry.
