Morgana's eyes were like silver fire when she believed herself to be in a particularly amorous situation. She used her eyes to seduce and trap. It was a specialty of hers.
It was just a part of who she really was. When Morgana drew Arthur to her, she never expected it to be quite so easy. He was Merlin's right hand man. Shouldn't he have been wiser?
To Arthur, she was just a normal witch. His half-sister. She wasn't someone he should fear. And that was his biggest mistake. He underestimated her.
She tried to seduce Merlin, to make him succumb to her advances. He wasn't quite as easy. He didn't know what it was, but he just knew she wasn't an ordinary witch.
One day, he asked her point blank, "Are you a dark witch?"
She smiled her secret smile, and her eyes flashed silver. "Good question," Morgana breathed.
Merlin's eyes narrowed. "A question you haven't answered."
Morgana walked closer to him and placed a hand on his chest. "You'll just have to wait and find out, won't you?"
"You might have Arthur fooled, but you won't get me through subterfuge."
Morgana cackled. "When I do win, you'll be too late to stop me."
It wasn't a threat; it was a promise.
Morgana went to her father. "I'm not there yet.?"
Her father's eyes flashed ruby red. "Morgana, you said it would be easy for a demon such as yourself to take out Merlin. Maybe I should have entrusted one of your half-sisters or half-brothers with this mission."
She hated being in constant competition to win her father's approval. Her father, Dion the Demon King impregnated many witches, producing many children. All of them half-demon, half-magical. One of the most powerful interbreeds there was.
All that meant for Morgana was there was a lot more people she had to step on to get to the top of the hill. And it was exhausting to have to always prove her worth. "Father, I'll do it. Merlin is mine! I won't let anyone still that victory from me! I just need more time."
"You've had almost two years. How much time do you expect me to give you? If I want the wizarding world to be mine, I need Merlin executed!"
"Just another six months, and Merlin will no longer be a threat to you. I promise."
"I'll give your four months," her father stated.
Morgana's heart pounded when the connection was cut. 'Four months? How am I going to accomplish my mission in four months?'
Morgana didn't know how to do it. Merlin had been one step ahead of her since day one and now she was on an even greater time constraint. It had to be done, though.
Morgana started working more on Arthur, hoping to bring him to her side. Her haste made her more prone to mistakes, though, and Arthur finally caught onto the fact that something wasn't right about her.
He and Merlin teamed up and learned the truth about who her father was.
The fight came, but Morgana stood alone. None of her other half-demon siblings came to help, and she realized her father had given up on her as well.
He decided she was no use to him and left her to Merlin's mercy.
And that was how Morgana became no more.
