William scoffed as he walked through the forest. It had been days since he had returned to Lyoko and still no one had talk to him about anything. To think I would have almost called them my friends. He wasn't stupid. They weren't going to talk about it anytime soon and he sure wasn't going to be the one to bring it up at school. If he did they would just have more trouble anyway. Complain about how he can't keep the secret. He stopped. Looking at the sewer entrance.
He remembered. Not everything. A lot though.
It could have happened to them too…. They don't understand. They looked at him and made it his fault. Its not. Its their faults. They were all off doing other things. He had just been too excited. He remembered it as yesterday.
It was so much fun. He wanted to see everyone on Lyoko. To see all of Lyoko. He thought he would have great times with them. Aelita had told him it wasn't a game. He listened… slightly.
He was the only one.
The only one whose life had been ruined by Lyoko. The only one who had been rejected, because of Lyoko.
Lyoko had been their way in. They were just like him. They just got dealt the better hand. Even Ulrich. It was obvious.
Sure, William was her friend and a rival for her love against Ulrich, but…. Yumi only enjoyed his flirting. She didn't love him. Ulrich was the one who had stolen her heart. William never had a chance. And he knew it.
He clutched his hands into fists. Everything hurt. He turned around, away from the sewer's entrance and back toward the Kadic.
He gave out his signature smile and chuckled to himself. "No one is ever going to see it though."
