Okay, I know this isn't usually how I would write a story for fanfic, but this is the way me and my friend thought it should end. It starts at the part where Rose is about to jump over the banister. It's not very serious and if ten people want me to take it off, I will.
THE WAY TITANIC SHOULD HAVE ENDED!
"Well, If you jump I'm gonna have to jump in after you," said Jack. He started taking off layers of unnecessary clothing and his brown, clunky boots.
"That's insane. You'll die," said Rose. She was breathing heavy now, from either the cold air or the possibility that she might die jumping off the boat of her dreams.
"You're right, I would," said Jack. He ran towards her and pushed her, causing her fingers to slowly slip away from the banister. She desperately made a grab for the banister, missing it by just a hair. She started to plummet towards the freezing ocean, her black and red evening dress floating around her. A blood-curdling scream filled the night sky. It was so loud; it could have cracked an iceberg. Within 30 seconds, there was a splash, and the screaming stopped.
Cal came running out, his hair a mess. Behind him came Rose's mother came walking out gracefully, but still had a panicked look on her face. Cal leaned over the banister, looking at Rose's broken figure in the water. He ran his fingers through his hair, and paced the floor. He looked at Jack who was just standing there, hands in his pockets, and whistling. He walked towards Jack.
"You," he said. "Did you kill her?" He had a look of such anger on his face, Jack thought her was going to kill him.
"Yeah, Yeah. She was gonna jump anyways," he replied, shrugging it off.
Cal stared at him for a moment. Then smiled and grabbed Jacks shoulders and shook them. "YES! YES, MY DEAR BOY! YOU'VE DONE IT!"
Jack looked confused, "Done what?" he said.
"You've killed her, have you not?" he screamed with joy.
"Uh, yeah."
"We've been trying to get rid of her for ages! But no you've done it! And to think I was only going to give you twenty dollars for saving her! Now, I'll give you twenty THOUSAND DOLLARS!" Cal then started to do a little victory dance. Rose's mother wasn't too thrilled that Rose was dead, but she knew that she could always have another kid. Maybe she'd name this one Dawson.
"WOO-HOO!" shouted Jack.
Cal suddenly stopped. "Now, what did you do with the Heart of the Ocean?"
Jack stopped too, "The what?"
Cal's smile shrank. "The necklace the ginger was wearing. The huge blue one. Surely, you took it off… right?"
Jack's smile shrank.
Cal turned a bright shade of red. "Oh, shit," he said. He then jumped over the railing and said,"It's not water proof!" He crashed into the water… and didn't resurface.
Everyone just stood around. There was a moment of silence. Rose's mother spoke first. "Anyone up for champagne?"
Everyone nodded and headed into the dining hall.
Epilogue
Rose's scream caused the iceberg to break, causing the titanic to not sink. JACK IS STILL ALIVE AND SINGLE! HE'S MINE!
Thanks to my friend Monica, to agree that Rose should have died and Jack should have lived. Please Review!
