Chapter 1- Lover's Tiff

"You don't want me as your enemy, Quirrell."

"Severus-I-I-"

Snape slammed Quirrell up against the wall. Before he could do anything, a strange feeling came over him as if he were being watched. Careful not to let any student observe his behaviour, he gave Quirrell a very quick wink.

"We'll have another little chat soon. Find out where your loyalties lie."

Filch came around the corner, a foul smell following, catching the two professors awkwardly. Severus barely listened as he told them a student was out of bed. Longing to leave the company of that insufferable fool, he started down a hallway with Quirrell alongside. He waited impatiently for Filch's footsteps to disappear.

"Gone?" Quirrell asked nervously.

Snape stopped. "Yes." he replied. He smirked, his lip curling. "Where were we? Oh, yes. I saw you giving Albus the eye yesterday, Quirrell."

Quirrell twitched, looking away from Snape's piercing gaze. "Severus- I would never-"

Again, he was slammed back to the wall. He moaned at the pain. Severus smirked again.

"Remember, you and I are- together. Loyalty is important to me, Quirrell." he smiled and released Quirrell gently.

"Severus- I am very sorry, I really did not mean to! I do like you- so much! Forgive me." Quirrell whispered tenderly, his hand curling up the older man's arm. He reached up to Severus and kissed him lightly. Severus hardened against the affection, then relaxed, kissing his lover with desperate urgency and desire.

Quirrell pulled away, gasping.

"Oh, my, Severus-"

Snape looked down and realised that he was pressing himself upon Quirrell with his hips. A slight shade of red dusted his deathly pale face. Quirrell bit his lip. Snape clutched at Quirrell's turban, trying to release him of the garment. Quirrell pushed him away strongly.

"What's wrong?"

"I-I don't like it when you touch it."

Snape frowned, stroking a finger over his lover's blushing cheek.

"Why?"

"I just don't, Severus." he resisted slightly, then fell into Snape's open arms, his head on his shoulder. Snape held him close, kissing his forehead very gently.

"You know, Quirrell, you really shouldn't fuss. I do care about you. I love you." Snape murmured.

"What? Really?" Quirrell asked, looking up into those green eyes.

"Yes."

There was a small pause.

"Severus, I love you too."

The couple embraced again. Footsteps echoed further down the hall. Severus pecked Quirrell on the lips quickly, smiled and swept off down the corridor, etching a scowl on his face, ready for his next potions class.

It's a one shot thing, but if I get enough encouragement, I'll get writing some more! J Thanks for reading!
