High school prompt: Kate is a complete loser were as Castle is the most popular guy in school. He gets dared to take her to prom and then humiliate her but then finds himself actually liking her/regretting the prank.
Rick walked towards the lockers where his big group of his friends were hanging out.
" Ricky boy " Josh Davidson shouted out
" good he didn't bring that loser with him " Meredith added
" I'm out " He said firmly
The whole group busted into a laugh till they noticed he wasn't laughing with them
" Ricky you haven't fell for her have you?" Demming asked
Kate rushed out of her class to meet up with her boyfriend when she turned the corner she saw him talking at the lockers with his friends.
A bet.
Of course it was a bet why would the most popular guy been into her the tears pooled her eyes.
Gina noticed she was standing there and tapped Josh on the shoulder the group went silent. They started pointing and whispering Rick turned around to see what was going on.
Kate had her head down tears pooling her eyes.
" Kate " he begun
She ran around the corner.
Rick went to go after her when someone grabbed his hand.
" Where are you going?" Gina said with a fake smile
" you don't own me Gina " he said shaking her off and going after Kate.
She couldn't see through the glasses due to the tears. Kate ended up falling onto the ground he found her on the ground.
" Kate " he ran towards her
" leave me alone just please leave me alone " she said picking up her school folders and walking off.
" but I love you " he said while watching her walk away.
A couple of day later he hears a knock at the door Ricks rushes to answer it.
" look what I have?" Gina said inviting herself in
" what Gina?" he rans his fingers through his hair
" a prom dress "
" why are you showing me this?"
" cause the prom king and queen go together
" I don't want to go to the prom "
" oh please tell me your not upset about her "
" yes Gina I'm upset about Kate once I got to her though I begun to love her and care about her "

Gina stormed out of Ricks place.
One of the girls Jenny showed up at Kate's.
" what do you want?" Kate asked
" Kate I know what you walked in on looks bad but can I just explain?"

An hour later Kate turned up to Ricks place.
" Kate " he said shocked
Kate usually wore jeans,a t-shirt and glasses but this Kate had contacts,make up and a dress.

" so are we going to the prom?"
