I'll Have a Blue Christmas Without you

"JESUS CHRIST THIS THING NEEDED AN UPDATE. WHEN DID I EVER THINK THAT I COULD WRITE?"- 2015 me
I'msosorry.
Now…On with the updated story!
Annabeth wasn't having the best day; in fact it was the worst of them all. She'd driven herself sick.
She slept in a bed in front of the Big House's fireplace. A group of people...Well, two demigods and a centaur, gathered around the bed concern showing in their eyes.
"Poor girl" Rachel said, a green scarf wrapped around her red locks keeping them in place like a headband. "Drove herself sick."
Rachel brushed her hand across Annabeth's forehead, wiping away a streak of gray hair.
Even though they hated each other at first, Annabeth was now her best friend. Annabeth helped her sort out her problems. She gave Rachel advice for whenever she couldn't stand her father or school anymore. She comforted her when her visions turned into nightmares.
Even though it's been months since she first got her power, Rachel was still deathly afraid of it. Her dreams turned into visions of murder, monsters, and Memories of those long gone.
"I know how she feels." Piper said from her right. "To have someone you love go missing."
Rachel put a comforting arm around Piper, knowing that they both needed it. The head of the Athena cabin had been the first person to be friendly to Piper after she got to Camp Half-Blood.
Chiron sat beside them in his magic wheelchair as he watched the three with a melancholy look in his eyes.
He wished he could tell them his theory; but alas, he had sworn on the River Styx that he wouldn't.
And through this sadness, nobody noticed the goddess Hestia watching from the Hearth with a sad smile.
She waved her hand and a warm presence entered Annabeth's mind.
"Merry Christmas my dear, I'm sorry it has to be this way…"

Annabeth found herself on the porch of the big house wearing something that she swore she'd never wear again.
The dress was simple, yet elegant. A deep blue skirt fell to her ankles as a muted gray top met her wrists. A light blue bow lay on her waist, neatly tying the dress together.
The dress was beautiful, that she had to admit, but she was still confused as to why she wore it.
She then realized that her confusion had been accompanied by music. It was slow and a little sad…But it still held hope for what was to come.
A warm wind nudged Annabeth forward, and she nearly fell on her face as she rushed forward, realizing why this particular song felt so familiar.
It was their song.
This was the song that Percy danced with her two years ago on the winter solstice.
Annabeth threw the door open and raced into the living room; her eyes grew big and became wet with tears when she saw what was inside it.
It was Percy.
It was Percy missing for daysweeksmonthsyears Jackson standing in the middle of the living room smiling like nothing was wrong.
"Hey Wise Girl." Percy said, and if Annabeth had not been about to cry, she would have made some sarcastic comment about him thinking that a Santa's hat was the best thing to wear with a black tuxedo.
"Percy?" Annabeth asked, her heart filling with hope. "Is…that you?"
"Who else would it be, Annabeth?" he asked and did an exaggerated bow as he held out his hand. "So…May I have this dance?"
She laughed and took his hand. "Of course you may, Seaweed Brain."
Percy pulled Annabeth tight against him and embraced her in a hug, of course she returned it.
The next minute and a half felt like hours to Annabeth; and even though it felt so real, she had already figured it out.
The song was near its end, and she looked into Percy's eyes. "Percy…Please, come home…"
Percy sighed and a wistful look crossed his eyes. "I wish I could…But I have no idea of who I am…"
Annabeth really didn't mean to cry.
She didn't!
But then Percy has to go and say that next sentence and her whole world shatters as she loses what little control she had in her fevered state.
"But Annabeth…What I do know…What I do remember…Is you, your name, and how much I love you." Percy's hands framed her face as he pressed his forehead to hers.
"You…Remember me?"
"You're the only thing I know."
Percy tilted his head and leaned in, whispering "Merry Christmas, Annabeth" as his lips made contact with hers.
Annabeth wrapped her arms around Percy's neck, giving all she had into the kiss as she felt Percy fade away with the song.
When Annabeth woke up, she could only feel three things: the tears streaming down her cheeks, the ghost of Percy's lips, and the song that had chased away her dream.
I'll have a blue Christmas without you…
Alright, I should explain this to you shouldn't I? Well in my sixth hour class, Publications 1, we had to either write a Christmas story or a speech about Christmas.
As you can see I chose story. So when I went to write the story, writers block attacked, and I couldn't write a non-horror story to save my life. So I started to flip through some of my old FanArt and I found one that had Annabeth in a dream, after TLO, Dancing with Percy and then going out to show Rachel, Piper, Chiron, and a sick Annabeth.
The rest should be self-explanatory.
