This story is about if Light lost to L, but then he was reincarnated as a girl!
Also, some of the character might be ooc, and the POV will be switch a lot.

Spirit's Return
April 28, 2004
On my fourteenth birthday my parents and I got into a car accident. Two days
later I woke up in the hospital with minor wounds. The room I was in was very clean and
pure white. White curtains, white bed sheets, white walls, white ceiling... it was almost
disturbing. Bright sunlight was steaming through the large windows. I felt like I was
going insane, even though I had only been awake for a few minutes. I wondered where
my mom and dad were, and if they were okay. A doctor wandered in, checked my chart,
took some notes, and called a nurse and a tall man with horn-rimmed glasses in. When I
asked where my parents were, they ignored me.
After about five minutes of them talking amongst themselves, they sat down in
front of my bed, and the questions began.
Who was I? Yurie Kasuga.
How old was I? 14, as of two days ago.
Where did I live? Kyoto.
What was I doing in Tokyo? Celebrating my birthday.
Where were my parents? With me, until the crash. ( what a weird
question. shouldn't they know that?)
And, lastly, why was in a dark alley in the worst part of town?
Because, according to them, that's where I was found, alone and unconscious in one of
the most dangerous areas of Tokyo. What parents? What car crash? I couldn't have come
from Kyoto. Because, according to them, Yurie Kasuga didn't exist.
No flames, please, but please review! I know it doesn't sound like a death note fan fiction, yet, but L and the others are going to be in the next chapter! Don't know when I'll update next, but I'm working on it! =) Again, Please Review!
