Yep, another old kink meme fill of mine ("Shinra/Celty Medical kink of some kind"). Forgot I actually did this one for awhile. This is what happens when you give a Psych major an excuse to nerd-out during a fanfic (Guess what topic we were studying at the time? Go on, guess). You have been warned.

"Have you ever heard of Masters and Johnson, Celty?"

Like many of Shinra's comments, it came out of the blue. Unlike many of Shinra's comments, it didn't appear to be particularly lewd, so Celty took the bait.

[Who are they?]

"A couple of American scientists. I've been reading a bit about them recently – very interesting work," Shinra said, bearing a grin one really shouldn't be wearing when talking about science. "You see, they were studying the human sexual response cycle and-"

[This isn't one of your propositions again, is it?] Celty forced the PDA at Shinra's face, annoyed at where the conversation was going. Shinra raised his hands defensively.

"Not quite, Celty. As much as I would love to share a beautiful night with you sometime, it's not what I'm asking right now. This is...different."

[How so?]

"Well, their work got me thinking about the Dullahan sexual response system – You know, how it's different from the human one."

Celty wasn't very convinced. [And?]

"And I was wondering if you could help me do some research in the same vein as Masters and Johnson."

Celty didn't need a face for Shinra to see that she wasn't amused. [And what sort of research would that be?]

"Glad you asked! You see, they asked some people to go through the phases of intercourse under their observation and-"

Celty refused to let him finish. [You said you weren't asking for sex!] The erratically sputtering shadow rising from her neck indicated that she wasn't too keen on the suggestion. Shinra did not let this discourage him

"Because I'm not. A researcher can't be a participant in his own study, after all. I'm just suggesting that, were I allowed to observe you masturbate, I would be able to gather data on how Dullahan genitals respond to stimuli and-"

And for the third time in the conversation, Shinra was interrupted by Celty's PDA. Only this time, she didn't thrust the device in his face – She threw it, the force of the blow strong enough to knock him off balance and off of the side of the couch. Hearing Celty's angry footsteps fading away, Shinra lied still and sighed.

Oh well. It was worth a shot.
