Picks up where season 2 left off
Finn: Meredith?
Derek: Meredith?
Meredith: No. . . no not now. I can't handle this right now. (She quickly leaves following Izzie and Alex. Finn and Derek look at eachother confused for a moment and then Derek runs after Meredith)
Derek: Meredith. . . .wait. . .Meredith! (the elevator door closes with Meredith and the other interns inside. Derek runs down three flights of stairs and stops Meredith as she is getting into the car.)
Derek: Meredith. . .we need to talk. . .you cant just leave me like this. . .I need
Meredith: No. . .derek. . .right now its not about what you need. You need to let me think. . .you need to let me help Izzie . . .You need to go home with your wife! (Meredith gets in the car with George, Izzie, Christina and Alex. They drive away leaving Derek standing in the parking lot. The scene flips back to Finn who is waiting by the stairs when Addison walks up.)
Addison: Have you seen my Husband?. …
Finn: umm. . .
Addison: . . .Doctor Shepherd? I've looked all over and he's
Finn: I think he left. . .
Addison: oh. ..
Finn: . . .with Meredith
