40 year old Beck Oliver is championing his daughter's field trip. They are stopped at a Subway for lunch.
"Dad!" Courtney called from her table of friends "can you tell us the first time you met mom."
"Sure." Beck sat down next to Courtney "Ok, the first time I meet Tori, my wife, she fell into my arms, literally"
*Flashback, 20 years earlier.*
20 year old Beck was walking through the forest, in a shirt, pants and with his hood up and talking on his cell phone. He walked by a group of girl spinning one girl on a swing. The girl got off the swing and was really dizzy. The girl fell and Beck caught her.
"Whoa be careful." Beck stood the girl up and walked away.
*End of flashback*
"Then Tori and her friends start like freaking out, because I'm walking around in dark clothes at like one in the morning. Then we meet again like six years later."
*Flashback, six years after their first meeting.*
26 year old Beck was working at a McDonalds as a cashier. When a new girl came up.
"Hey I'm Tori Vega nice to meet you."
"You to Beck Oliver."
"Beck is a great name."
"Not as great as Tori. Is it short or Victoria."
"Yeah, I hate the name Victoria."
"It can't be worst then Beckett."
"Really, what about um…"
"Can't think of anything."
"No, sorry Beckett is a pretty weird name."
"I'm Canadian."
"Oh wow I love your hair."
"Thanks."
*End of flashback*
"Then we didn't even know that I was the one that caught her until we were dating for six months."
"That is so cute." Said Courtney's friend, Gwen
"It really is." said Courtney "It is so cute that my dad saved my mom."
"I didn't really save her,"
"Mom said you did, her boyfriend just broke up with her when you guys meet. The second time."
"Really."
"Yup." Courtney and Gwen got up "thanks daddy." Courtney kissed her dad's cheek and walked off with Gwen.
"I save her?" Beck asked himself walking off.
Ok, I was at a Christian teen camp when one of the people who helped, Josh "Mr. Crazy" told me and my friends this story. I thought of Beck and Tori. I thought this would be cute story. And I just looked at the names of the kids... people from Total Drama Island. Wow...
