*Hi Guys, this story isn't connected to any of my other ones this is just something I thought would be fun also most of the actual facts of the Harry Potter characters I changed and if you don't like that then bye…this is in the marauders era and I haven't yet decided the couples so if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears…Let me know what use think :)

Third Person

The marauders where going into their Fifth year and where on their way to the great hall for the annual sorting, the train ride was the same as every year they spoke about their summers, pranked and joked around.

"I'm telling you Moony…you have to get out there more and stop sulking about your furry little problem" James insisted Remus was feeling the pressure as the other two agreed.

"Yeah well James used your tooth brush last night, Padfoot" Remus (Moony) blurted out causing James to turn red in embarrassment and Sirius too look at James in horror.

"That's disgusting I used that toothbrush this morning" Sirius whined as Remus and Peter sniggered as James tried to defend himself.

"I didn't mean it, it was dark It looked like mine it wasn't till Moony said that I realised" James reasoned as Remus laughed.

"Then he dropped it down the toilet when he realised it was yours" Peter chuckled as James shot him a murderous look, Remus started to laugh harder as Sirius looked a little green.

James legged it to the carriages Sirius shot after him as Remus and Peter chuckled at them walking to the carriages.

As the four boys where sitting in the carriages to get to Hogwarts they were surprised as the three Black sisters sat in front of them.

Bellatrix, who was very slender looking with crazy black hair, had a disgusted look on her face, Andromeda, who had an hour glass figure and had straight black hair, was smiling as she attacked Sirius with a hug which he gladly returned.

Finally, Narcissa, who also had her own hour glass figure and straight black hair, she always looked very nervous, but her eyes shown with confidence as she sat with her arms folded and smiled warmly at Sirius who gave a nod in acknowledgement.

Andromeda was the eldest of her sisters she was starting her seventh year, Narcissa was the middle child she was starting her sixth year and Bellatrix was starting her fifth year.

"What do we owe the pleasure?" Sirius said sarcastically which Bellatrix shot him a murderous look as Andromeda chuckled at as Narcissa stared at her nails with a bored expression on her face.

"We're here to ask a favour…not that we don't know you won't do it…" Andromeda stuttered as Sirius shook his head.

"Sorry ladies I don't give favours to death eaters" Sirius said simply as he winked at Andromeda as a means to not offend her, Narcissa chuckled this time as she looked up from her hands.

"What a bold accusation cousin…but I heard from a little birdy that someone was nearly branded this summer but just managed to escape to his little Potters with the help from their little cousin" Narcissa smirked as she looked at Sirius's furious face.

"Wonder who?" Bella, who had been quiet, muttered "Sirius they didn't mean to offen…" Andy was interrupted as Sirius who was held down by Remus and Potter tried to attack Narcissa who just sat back laughing.

"STOP IT!" Bellatrix shouted causing everyone to get a fright "They moved Ella…she's moving here and we all know she doesn't have a vicious bone in her body…so what house do you think shell get sorted into…all were asking is for you to look out for her when we can't if its not a big deal…I'm not really asking…I'm begging use to protect her please" Bellatrix's voice got quieter with each word she was shaking slightly as she showed them her arms to show she wasn't branded.

This shocked even her sisters as Andy pulled her into her arms whispering soothing words to her sister.

Sirius's face turned chalk white out of all his family Ella was his favourite cousin, then it was Andy, she was a loving soul and use to protect Sirius from his family she had been sent to Beauxbaton as Bellatrix pretended she didn't want her to go with her, so her parents sent her away.

Sirius gave them a nod as Narcissa put her hand out to be shaken which he shook as the carriage stopped the sisters got off first.

"Sirius who's Ella?" James asked as they climbed out of the carriage and walked up to the feast.

"She's my little cousin…she's real nice that's why they're scared she's their little sister and their dad is a lot worse than my parents…her and Bella are really close…she'll be in our year, her and Bella are born a few months apart Bella's older though" Sirius explained to which the other marauders nodded saying nothing as they entered the great hall.

The sorting began as always the first years had all been sorted as Dumbledore stood, the Black sisters all took each other's hands waiting in anticipation, "Now we don't usually get many exchange students however I would like us all to treat our new fifth year with the utmost kindness as it will not be easy starting a new school" Dumbledore finished as he sat down nodding to McGonagall.

"Estella Irma Black" McGonagall called out as a small girl with long crazy black hair gracefully walked down to the stool she sat down as the hat was placed on her head.

"Mmmhhh very different from each of your sisters…they possessed the qualities of a Slytherin…you however do not, your very difficult your heart is kind like a Hufflepuffs and you have the courage of a Griffindor and the brains of a Ravenclaw…you do possess the loyalties of a Slytherin…I know Griffindor!" The hat cheered as the table cheered Sirius the loudest.

As Ella sent her sisters a horrified look and couldn't move from shock as her sisters sat in silence until Bellatrix stood "GO ELLA!" She cheered as she gave Ella a genuine smile as she whistled and clapped, Andy laughed as she stood and joined in, seconds later Narcissa was on her feet as well.

Everyone in the hall stared at the sisters in shock, they where known for being emotionless and cold, but they were now standing smiling, laughing and cheering for their sister.

Ella smiled at her sisters as she sat down at her house table, Dumbledore stared at the three standing Slytherins he saw something he was worried the girl didn't have…he saw from the way they smiled that Ella was their hope.

He understood that Bellatrix was seen as the worst out of her sisters she was seen as horrible and cruel, but he noticed she was a totally different person with Estella around and he hoped by having her here most of the time Bella would slowly change her ways.

"Tuck in" Dumbledore stood as he clapped his hands and food appeared on all the tables, Ella sat at the end of her table alone as she was warned not to associate herself with Muggle born's or Half-bloods, but she had already broken that rule when she was waiting to be sorted as she spoke to a muggle born first year.

As Ella took a small portion of soup and nursed it "Well this isn't what my favourite little cousin looked like when I last saw her, she had long, curly blonde hair and a happy smile on her face" Sirius smiled as he and marauders who were gawking at the small girl sat next to his cousin.

She ignored him as she continued eating "Ella? Is everything okay?" Sirius asked with mild concern as he saw the same look her sisters gave people.

"If I had wanted to sit with you I would have" She said simply as she still refused to meet his eyes as the marauders sat in a painful silence.

"Ella…are you seriously not talking to me because I'm now a 'blood traitor' because I hate to break it to you, your one now too" Sirius snapped instantly regretting it as she looked him straight in the eyes he could see them glistening with tears, but he knew she wouldn't cry in front of anyone.

"You better be joking…who do you think took the wrap when you left…have you met my father? Because not only did I get punished then for doing nothing wrong…you promised you wouldn't tell them I had been helping you...you lied to me and as you so kindly pointed out I'm now going to be a blood traitor and probably be punished beyond belief so thanks Sirius" Ella said sounding like she was in pain as she stood and walked over to the prefect, then left the hall.

"Shit" Sirius groaned as he ran a hand down his face "What did she help you with?" Remus asked as the marauders all sat waiting for them to have finished.

"She was staying over to keep me company and offered to help me get away in the morning of the day I was supposed to be branded and then she would go back to her bed and pretend she was sleeping but someone…either Kreacher or Regulus most of heard us and grassed us up to my lovely mother…so I woke around four and decided it was best just to leave Ella out it and I left her a note and then just left…they must have found the note" Sirius whispered.

Seconds after that a bang sounded from beside him scaring most people around them "She was nearly KILLED for helping you, I fucking hate you Sirius Orion Black and forget what we asked you…ill protect my sister because if anyone dares touch a hair on her head they will feel my thrath…stay away from her" Bellatrix spat as she too left the hall.

"Well it has been an interesting start to this year" Peter hummed as he got a glare from Sirius, the marauders spoke to try and take Sirius's mind off his argument with Ella.

As they where all leaving the hall the marauders leaving nearer the end "She was being a dram queen…the Black women always are seems like she's taking after her sisters especially with her hair…she's being a fucking idiot and the sooner she realises it the better" Sirius stated to his friends as they spoke about how Ella reacted.

"She is forced to take a potion every day to stop her Metamorphmagus powers…they destroyed all her possessions…they tried to kill her dog but Bella saved him…they also beat her to her near death…she's been through hell this summer and not once did she tell them who you ran away to…so see when you're calling her names and stuff behind her back how about you remember that she was willing to give up her life so you could get one" Narcissa hissed as she threw Sirius against a wall and stormed away.

"I didn't know" Sirius croaked as he reached out for Andy as she shoved him away "I can't help who my family are and if I want to leave I should be able to I'm not going to be guilt tripped into believing otherwise" Sirius said trying to sound more braver than he felt under Andy's gaze.

"No…my baby sister bled out in my arms as she protected you…she died for a whole minute but we managed to get her back obviously…moving her here was a test to see what house she would get into and she failed and now they're likely to make her pay the price for it…for her being who she is…Ella is an amazing person and what you just said would of hurt her more than being Cruicoed…and don't you dare say that no one's making you feel guilty were just telling you what she's done for you…what have you done for her?…leave her alone you've done enough to her this summer…hope your freedom was worth my sisters death" Andy said as tears rolled down her cheeks as she went after her sister.

Sirius was left feeling empty, he hadn't meant to cause Ella any bother…he loved her more than anyone in his family she had always stuck up for him no matter what he had done…they where like sister and brother and he had nearly killed her.

Flashback

"Siri" An eight-year-old Ella said in her angelic tone as she tried to find where he was hiding as she heard him whispering behind a tree she ran over to tag him when she saw him with a hurt looking dog.

"Ohh dear" She murmured as she gently pushed Sirius to the side, as he was trying to help the animal but was tugging the nettle wrapped around its leg making it worse, she gently undone the note and the animal was free.

"You think we can keep him Ella" Sirius whispered excitedly as he ran into his house not waiting for an answer she ran frantically behind him.

She already knew the answer to his question.

Just as Sirius's mother was about to shout at him "Auntie Walburga it was my idea I found him and was too nervous to ask…please can we keep her ill look after her and everything" Ella begged as Walburga smiled at the small girl.

"Okay fine but shell have to go home with you, Reg is allergic to dogs" Walburga lied as the two children nodded furiously as they ran out of the house cheering as Sirius still held the dog.

"What should we name him?" Ella asked, they both thought for a minute "Socks" they both shrieked at the same time sending them into fits of giggles.

And that's how most problems were solved…Ella would fix everything, or she use to at least.

Sirius and the marauders walked back to their common room, again the marauders tried to cheer him up but there was no use.

"Black?" Two voiced called as Sirius turned to see the Prewett twins "is that new girl your cousin?" They chorused as Sirius looked at the twins suspiciously and gave a tight lipped yes as they just nodded and left.

"Those two are very weird sometimes" James (Prongs) stated with a chuckle then Lily walked past with Alice and Marlene "Hey my lily-flower go on a date with me?"James asked as he sent Lily a cheeky smile.

"Id rather kiss the giant squib Potter" Lily spat as she stormed up the stairs Alice and Marlene following after her sniggering as they done so.

"She'll come to terms with her undying love for me soon" James huffed his smile never leaving his face as Remus and Peter chuckled, but Sirius was too guilty to laugh to ashamed of himself.

"Your something else Prongs" Remus chuckled as the marauders went up to their dorm to plane pranks and rest.

One marauder wouldn't be sleeping at all tonight that was for sure.
