There were those nights were they'd just lie out on the picnic blanket and watch the stars…
Fabian carefully opened up the door to Nina and Amber's room. A small light flashed in his eyes and a giggle. He shushed quickly and pulled her out of her bedroom.
They sneaked out the dorm, quietly and swiftly. All those times they were together in Sibuna were good practice for sneaking out, although Victor wasn't in his office that night. When they noticed this, they took off in a run.
When they made it outside, they walked slowly. For a moment they got lost in each other's eyes. He couldn't help but comment on the enchanting green eyes that made him fall for her in the first place.
Finally they it made it to a small clearing. Fabian laid out the blanket and Nina fell on it. She stared up at the sky smiling. Fabian sat with her, his legs crossed. Nina closed her eyes and sighed.
Her eyes slowly opened when a small cold metal object was placed in her hand.
No…on her hand.
Nina looked down on the small gold ring with the Micky Mouse diamond in the middle. She looked up and smiled at him.
"Happy New Year's Eve, Nina."
