Hao Asakura stood in a park enjoying the cool breeze and watching the twinkling stars as he waited twin brother Yoh. It was the twin's birthday and they wanted to spend some time together just the two of them.
Hao always enjoys watching the stars, the way they just shine all the time. The way they shine just like his twin brother Yoh.
He smiled, a soft gentle smile as he thought about his brother. His kind brother who forgave him even though he had tried to kill him and his friends a numerous times.
It was strange that just a few months ago the Shaman Tournament had taken place and how all he wanted to do was to destroy Yoh, now a few months later all he wanted to do was protect Yoh because his younger twin had managed to pull him out of his darkness and show him the light and because he felt complete when he was around Yoh.
Suddenly sensing his younger brother behind him, he turned around to see Yoh smiling and staring at the stars.
"The stars are beautiful aren't they Aniki?", Yoh asked still smiling.
"Very", Hao replied gazing back up at the stars.
Yoh getting tired of standing sat down and then glanced up at Hao who was looking down on him. Yoh grinned lazily before patting the ground next to him.
"Come sit with me Aniki".
Hao stared at his twin a few seconds longer before complying. They sat in a peaceful silence just watching the stars until Hao broke the silence and pulled out a small box from his pocket.
"Happy Birthday little brother", Hao said softly handing Yoh the small box who took the package and looked at it curiously before opening the box and gasped. Inside the box was a simple yet beautiful silver chain necklace.
"I love it, thank you", Yoh whispered closing the box and pocketing it.
Hao smiled, a smile that is only reserved for his twin but then frowned when he noticed the sad expression on Yoh's face.
"Yoh what's wrong?", Hao asked gently.
Yoh looked at him, "I didn't get you anything Aniki", he murmured sadly.
Hao remained silent for a few minutes before turning his brother to face him.
"Yoh, you being my twin brother is a good enough present for me".
Yoh blinked in surprise at what his twin had said before a happy smile grew on his face. He rested his head on Hao's shoulder and they both carried on gazing at the stars for the rest of night feeling complete by each others sides.
