As I lye there, cold, alone, and scared, I felt a warm pair of arms wrap around my waist and pull me to safety. 'Where were you?' I whisper in the dark, tears spilling over my eyes.
''I was looking for some one as pretty as you, but I failed miserably.'' He whispered into my ear, his hot breath spreading over my face. I sighed as I turned around in his arms to face him. He kissed my tears away. ''I promise I won't do it again.'' He whispered against my skin.
I rested my hand on his face, comforted by the smooth feel of his skin. In the soft shine of the moon light, I could see the contrast of our skin; deep russet against pale peach.
''Good. Cause someday you'll find some one prettier than me and follow her home.'' He stroked my cheek bone, looking into my eyes
''That's impossible.''.My face turned hot and I looked away from his eyes. As soon as our eyes parted, his hand came up under my chin and lifted my face back up. ''Don't hide your face. I haven't seen it in a while. I missed it.'' He smile his magical smile, and I was left speechless.
