A/N: Welcome to the revised version of The New Girl.
Well, it's been four months and I still can't think of a better title, any suggestions for a more original one would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou so much to all the people who reviewed the original version, I will use as many of your suggestions as I can.
On with the show! (One of the things I've done in the four months since I wrote the original story is fall in love with Moulin Rouge.)
Chapter One
On The Train"Don't put your feet on the seat Ron" Hermione said exasperatedly.
"Hermione, no-one's sitting there, it doesn't matter." Ron replied, making no attempt to move his feet.
"Even so, you're not supposed to put your feet on the seats," Hermione said peevishly, "Help me out here Harry!"
"Well no-one is sitting there" Harry said.
Hermione sighed irately and crossed her arms, turning to look angrily through the window of the compartment's door.
Harry shrugged sheepishly at Ron who rolled his eyes in a "typical Hermione" look. Figuring they weren't going to get much conversation out of her for a while they began discussing Quidditch.
Hermione was still staring out of the window when an unfamiliar girl walked past; she was alone, walking with her head down and reddish brown hair falling across her face.
Then Hermione spotted three all too familiar people approaching their compartment.
"Uh oh" she thought.
"Well if it isn't Potty, the Weasel and the Mudblood!" Draco Malfoy said loudly, bursting into the compartment, flanked by Crabbe and Goyle.
"You seen the new girl Potter? She looks alright, doesn't she boys?" Malfoy said, elbowing Crabbe with a smirk.
"Get out Malfoy" Ron said almost tiredly.
"I think I'll stay thanks Weasley" Malfoy said.
"He said get out" Hermione said pointing her wand at Malfoy, "You don't want a repeat of last time we were on the train do you?"
Malfoy coloured slightly, remembering how he, Crabbe and Goyle had been cursed by Ron, the Weasley twins, Harry and Hermione at the end of last year.
"Come on boys, let's go then." He said, leading a disappointed Crabbe and Goyle out of the compartment.
"Thank God they've gone" Harry said.
"I wonder what year the new girl's in" Ron said.
Harry shrugged, Hermione decided not to mention the unfamiliar girl she had seen, having the weird feeling that they would meet her all too soon.
A/N: Well what do you think? It's taken me about 2 hours so hopefully you like it.
I'd like to thank my can of Cherry Coke and the movie The Parent Trap, (the Lindsay Lohan one, she looks so young!)
