I'm kinda surprised that people are not writing about chapter 675. It's such a huge KakaSaku moment. Anyway, I made a short fanfiction about it so, I hope you guys like it.

He didn't know what to feel by then. He just observed his bickering students. It was as if all those years of being separated never truly happened. In a way, some of his burdens were lifted off of his shoulders. He felt lighter. They were reunited even just for a brief moment.

"Madara stole Kakashi's eye to go to Obito's place. He's going to come out with both rinnegans!"

"Eh!? Really!?"

They have grown, Kakashi noticed. However, it didn't stop him from reminiscing. They were just little kids back then. They were barely grazing the life of being a shinobi. He remembered their first official meeting.

"Hmm... How can I say this..? My first impression is… I don't like you guys."

It wasn't about the prank. He just didn't really like them, or kids in general. Besides, Naruto was obsessed with ramen. Sasuke was obsessed with revenge. Sakura was obsessed with Sasuke. It wasn't the perfect team.

His views changed, nevertheless. They were the first to pass the bell test after all. Since then, they grew on him. Therefore, to see them committing to their ways made him nostalgic. Naruto, for instance, has already fulfilled his dreams. He already surpassed the hokage and gained the acknowledgement of the people in the village—including himself. He was proud of him. Naruto accomplished a lot through all of the hardships he experienced.

Yet, he was more proud of Sakura. She was a kind girl. She was able to look pass a person's fault… even if that said person tried to kill her. She did so even if didn't love Sasuke in the same way anymore. He honestly didn't know why and how she was doing it. She still had the motivation to save him from the darkness.

It amazed him more how genuine she became to be. It gave him hope—hope that she'll save him from his own ways. He was trash, worse even. He let his comrades down, leading to the darkness in his best friend's heart. And even if he tried to redeem himself through his father's example, he couldn't forgive himself. He lived with the guilt every single day of his life.

"I need you, Sakura"

He needed her. He needed her to see the good in him. He needed her to make him feel like he was worth something. He needed her to save him and fix him because he was broken… more than he would like to admit. And she had just proven to be his saviour. That was why he wouldn't let anything or anyone hurt her.

"Sasuke… what's your current dream?"
