I have always thought that Rogue looks to Logan as more a father figure than a friend and after the last movie I could totally see him playing a bigger part in her life as a child. This is my first X men fanfic. I hope you enjoy and my disclaimer should be obvious I don't own x men because I am not a company.
He was always uncomfortable in situations like this. He didn't belong here as he looked around, a yard full of uppty looking men and women dressed to the nines was not his idea of a good time. He wasn't a formal man and but for her, he could put on a suit for a couple of hours.
He took a deep breath and tugged at his tie. Barely resisting the erg to tear the damn thing completely off. When the loud speaker interrupted his thought, greeting parents and friends of the graduates.
As the different and teachers spoke he thought of her. When it was her time to walk across the stage in that silly looking little robe and hat he had to grasp for breath. She looked so grown up now.
" And now I welcome,Marie Wolf the valedictorian to give her speech to her class."
" Thank you", she smiled as took he place on the stage. "Today we all sit here soon to be college graduates each for various reasons, but we are all here because someone along the way had believed in us. For me that person was my mentor, my hero, the person who raised me and shaped me into the person I am today, my dad Logan James Wolf."
After that he could concentrate on another word she said, all he could see was his little girl. It seemed like just yesterday she was just knees and elbow lost and confused asking for a lift. He couldn't help but smile. He welled up with pride. He had done some terrible things in his life, but Rogue was something he could be proud of.
" Dad," She whispered as she carefully hugged him.
He pulled her tight. His has so much to tell her.
" I think I have something in my eye" He mumbled rubbing his eyes.
