Title: Fated Lovers
Summary: Fearing for the lives of the Pack, Billy calls an old friend for help. "Imprinting? You mean when a baby duck sees a person and thinks that person is it's mom?" "I...no, not like that."
Parirings: Thalia/? (Kinda thinking about Paul, we'll see.) Percy/Annabeth Jason/Piper Leo/? (Thinking of having Leah imprint on him)
Author's Notes: This idea wouldn't leave me alone, so I thought 'what the heck' and decided to start writing it. I can honestly pair Thalia with anyone and I do mean anyone. She's such a cool badass girl. Which, speaking of, she won't be a Hunter. Let's say she quit after the Giant War because she realized she didn't want to stay young while her family got old.
"Hello?"
"Is this Chiron?" Billy asked, fidgeting with the phone cord. He had just come back from a meeting with the Elders. This meeting was to notify them that the Pack had decided to help the Cullens fight the army of newborn vampires.
"Yes, this is he." Chiron's voice hadn't changed much of the years. He still sounded full of wisdom.
Billy let out a sigh of relief, "Chiron, it's Billy. Billy Black." He waited anxiously to hear if Chiron remembered him. This was his last resort. He needed Chiron to help his tribe and the pack.
"Billy!" Chiron sounded pleasantly surprised, "I haven't heard from you in ages. How are you?"
Billy let out a chuckle. Of course Chiron would remember him; he never forgot one of his students. "I'm doing good. Listen, I have a bit of a problem." He quickly explained what had been happening, how Bella (a mortal girl) had fallen in 'love' with a Cold One, how the male vampire ("His name is Edward") destroyed one of his own kind to save her, and now the dead vampire's mate was after her. Which brought him to the most important detail of this call, "They want our shifters to help fight and they've agreed. But judging on what the leader of their coven has said, there still won't be enough on our side to defeat the newborns."
He heard Chiron sigh, a deep tired sigh. "You want me to send some campers to help?"
"I would be very grateful if you could." Billy answered, "I don't want them ordered to come, but if any volunteer..." He trailed off.
"Of course, I know just the group to ask. Expect them within the week." Chiron ended the call.
Billy let a small smile play on his face. Now the Pack had a fighting chance, now they might survive the horrible battle that was causing fear in the tribe.
