Kratos did not kill Heras but it is very difficult to prove his innocence because the others Gods don't believe him. Kratos was holding his sword when Heras was dying on the mountains, and one of the gods saw him, and thought that he killed Heras. Unfortunately Kratos was just helping Heras. But he could not save her. Kratos lifes changed drastically now he has to escape, and hide from the others Gods, and his enemies. He has been tire to fight for more than ten years. He thinks killing himself can end his suffering kratos refuses to be chained, and continues on a path not within the plans. After several days of hiding he forced to Titan to confess that he killed Heras. Titan did it because he was afraid of Kratos killing his family. Kratos will start another adventure in the mount of olimpus.
