Flame Princess looked up at her father. The man she once thought cared about her. Now when she sees him she feels anger. She also feels a sense of abandonment, she feels hurt, lied to, lonely. But she doesn't focus on that.
Her emotions were ruining her life. She just can't let them get to her.
He was in the lantern. That darn lantern that she lived so much of her life in. Now he's stuck there. Now the tables have turned. She's the one on the outside. She's the one that's free. He's the one inside. He's the one that's trapped. And it feels good, in a bad sort of way. She knows who he really is.
"Now just what do you think you're doing?" he asked her.
"I'm taking over." she says, back turned to him.
"No you're not!" he says, "I'm the one that rules around here! You're too young to know what you're doing. It's just some teenage thing. You'll get over it. You don't want all the responsibility of ruling this place!"
"You're not in charge anymore. I am. And I'm going to rule better than you ever could. I'm going to make this an honest place."
"Honesty? That doesn't sound very evil!"
Flame Princess closed her eyes and growled.
"I'M TIRED OF BEING TOLD I'M EVIL! I'M TIRED OF BEING TOLD I'M GOOD! I JUST WANT TO BE ME AND DO WHAT I THINK IS BEST!"
She grew more fiery as she turned about to face him.
"WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT ME BEING EVIL? IT'S NOT LIKE YOU ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT ME! FATHERS WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR DAUGHTERS DON'T TRY AND LEAVE THEM OUT IN THE WILDERNESS TO DIE WHEN THEY'RE JUST A BABY!"
"Well who told you about that?" he says.
"Cinnamon bun!"
"Hi!", the large doughnut waved his hand.
"Well-" Flame King started
"I don't want to hear it!" the fiery girl said.
She sat down on the throne, trying to calm down, when suddenly two people came through the door.
She looked closer, and could see it was Princess Bubblegum and-
"Flame Princess!"
"Finn?"
