The school bell Reigs, ending the school day. Rei puts his book away and begins packing up, when he hears a familiar voice shouting his name.
"Rei-chan!" Nagisa calls, running towards the blue-haired teenager. "let's practice your butterfly after school today!" he says, bouncing with excitement.
"today? I appreciate the offer but I need to study for the test tomorrow." Rei declines, standing up from his desk and filing out of the classroom with the rest of the students.
"awwww come on Rei-chan! You'll do fine on the test, you always do!" he says, clinging onto Rei's arm. Rei looks at the blonde boy, his pink eyes gleaming with happiness. 'well, I guess he's right...' Rei thinks to himself.
"alright Nagisa, I'll swim with you." he sighs. Nagisa's face lights up. "great! I'll meet you by the pool after cleanup!" The boy lets go of Rei's arm and runs off. Rei fixes his glasses and smiles.
The pool glistened in the afternoon light. Rei smiled when he saw Nagisa already in his bathing suit. "what took you so long! I've been waiting for you!" he says as Rei undresses.
"sorry, I had to look over some things." he chuckles. Nagisa giggles, causing Rei to blush a bit. "hehe, what're you blushing about, Rei-chan?" Nagisa asks, stepping closer to him. "w-what? I...it's a sunburn!" he stutters in embarrassment. Nagisa giggles again and hugs Rei. His breath hitches at the sudden contact and his face turns bright red, "N-Nagisa, what're you doing?" he asks, as Nagisa looks up at him. "just hugging Rei-chan!" he smiles. "hehe, you're blushing like crazy." the boy giggles. "n-no i'm no-" before Rei can finish his sentence, Nagisa leans up and kisses his nose.
The blue-haired teenager freezes up, unable to say anything. 'h-he just kissed me?!'
Rei's face becomes even redder as the smaller boy holds him tightly around the waist. "wh-why'd you kiss me?" he says, nervously looking away. Nagisa keeps smiling. "why do you think, silly?! Because i like you Rei-chan!" he says sweetly, holding Rei tighter. "What?!" Rei exclaims, his head fumbling for more words. "it's true! I really really like you Rei-chan!" he giggles, kissing Rei again, this time planting his lips softly on the other's. Rei manages to place his arms on Nagisa's shoulders, leaning into the kiss a bit more, his nervousness depleting.
Makoto decided to go for a quick swim before heading home. He got into his bathing suit and took his time walking down to the pool. Upon enteReig he sees that Rei and Nagisa are there already. "hey-" he says, but quickly cuts himself off. Nagisa's arms are wrapped around Rei's torso, Rei's arms are on his shoulders, they're pressed up against eachother, both enveloped into their tender kiss. It looks like they didn't hear Makoto. Makoto smiles, happy for them. He quietly walks back into the building. leaving the boys to enjoy their kiss, He thinks to himself,
