Well here we go

Brutal Honesty

Brutal honesty. That was his problem. Whose problem was this? Well, Blaise's, of course. You know… That tall, tanned, dark-haired, handsome guy. Seriously, People! I can't believe you just forgot Blaise.

Well anyway. The thing is that the night prior to the incident he had been thinking. Well, yes! He does do it sometimes. This time in particular he was thinking about how people kept lying to each other regarding the most little things. Like… for example when someone asks "Would you be so kind as to stop smoking?". No one ever answers "No, I wouldn't". When that's what everyone wants to say. Honestly!

So, that night, Blaise decided he was going to be honest with everybody, and answer every question with nothing but the truth. That night he went to sleep with the firm intention of doing just that. The next day.

Bad idea my friends,oh! What a bad idea. Why? Because the next morning the first to ask him a question was Pansy, his best friend, who was trying on a dress.

Blaisey, Sweety! Do you think this dress looks god on me?-

Honestly?- Blaise asked.

But of course! Why would I ask you otherwise?-

Uh-Oh!- thought Blaise.

Well, then… Sincerely, I don't. I think that colour does not go with your skin at all. And, in fact, Pansy, darling, that dress makes you look fat-

BLAAAISE! How can you say that to me? This colour goes beautifully with my eyes, and I'm certainly not fat. I'm quite slim if I say so myself!- Pansy half yelled, half ranted.

But Pansy!- whined Blaise –you told me to be honest with you.-

ARRGH! Boys!

And she punched him. Hard.

I'm not fat you dolt!-

Well, - Blaise thought- I guess this wasn't such a bright idea after all. And I think I understand now why people lie in these situations. Because, honestly! Who'd want to tell the truth when lying is easier and you don't get punched for it!-
